Protecting my Mommy!

Mommy took us out to go potty this morning. She usually takes us out in the back where there isn't anyone around, so we can walk around without our leashes on. When we get there, I couldn't even pee because I was so distracted by this figure sitting on the stairs. This was evil because I have never seen this before in this spot and I had to protect Mommy. I start barking at him to try and scare him away. He just looks at me, and as soon as he talks, well my hair stands up and I'm going crazy on this guy. What the hell was he doing here? He must of expected us to be here and he's here to harm us!
The guy asks Mommy what I'm doing. She tells him that I'm barking at him, but my voice doesn't work anymore. What? My voice works just fine. I'm barking at him, ain't I? Anyways, he laughs at me. What the hell?
Mommy tells him that I'm trying to scare him away. He stands up and starts to walk away. It worked!
Okay, so since he's walking and acting like a real person, I guess he's pretty cool. So I went up to him and appologized. He sat back down and petted me. Well, now I know he's really cool, so I hopped into his lap and gave him tons of kisses. I like this guy! My enemy just became my friend.
Well, so mom calls me to go back inside, but I don't want to now. I want to spend time with my new friend. So I'm gonna hang out with him. Mom, Sadie and Tex start to walk away, but I don't care. Then my new friend says, "You wanna work out with me today? I'm about to go work out."
Is he crazy? Do you see my fat ass? I don't want to work out! Mommy! Wait Up, I'm coming inside!

I'm still the baby, dammit!

About 2 weeks ago, Mommy brought home a flea-bitten, dirty, smelly puppy. He was so sleepy for the first couple of days, that I thought all that puppy is gonna do is sleep! But after he was cleaned up and got his energy back, he started playing with my toys.....those are MINE! I didn't like it at first, but then he started to play tug-o-war with me, so I was excited! Sadie never plays tug-o-war with me! So we have been wrestling and playing, and it's been so much fun! Mommy says he's my new little brother now, so we will get to play for a long time! Woohoo!
But now I have to share attention with 2 other dogs now! So I fight my way to Mommy and Daddy sometimes. Mommy says that even though Tex is alot younger than me, I am still the baby! So I'm still the spoiled baby!

My Tail of Devotion for Jaymie

You are so affectionate, you stole my heart from day one. I remember taking you home when you were 8 weeks old, and on the first day, you gave me a puppy kiss. It was as if you knew I was your Mommy. I made sure you were spoiled rotten, and you made sure to show everyone you were spoiled rotten. And even through all of the health problems you have had over your 2 years, all of the work, worry, and money was more than worth it.
Daddy and I love you so much. You are such a joy to our home. Even in our darkest hours, you can cheer us up. Your funny looks, happy dances, weird noises, affectionate kisses, and your snuggles all make us happy. Even though the other dogs are happy when I get home, you are the one that goes overboard with happiness! I thank you so much for that, because no matter what happened at work, you make it disappear as soon as I walk through the door. You are definately a character, and I've learned so much from you. I love you so much, my little Jaymie.

Thanks for spoiling me silly! I can't get enough of you! When you get home at the end of the day, I think I'll go crazy! For some reason my booty will not stop shaking and it takes over me! Thank you for all of the snacks and toys (they are all mine!). But most importantly, thanks for your love. I know it's definitely love when I come in from outside, and you wipe my butt after I go to the bathroom. I know it's definitely love when I throwup all over you (several times) and after you are cleaned up, you still hold me. And when I fart and clear the room, you still sit next to me--even though you make fun of me. You don't mind wiping the eye boogies from my face, and even if I'm really slobbery, you still let me give you tons of kisses. Thank you so much for your love and I'll never forget the time I went to have surgery. You took care of me and when I got better, I could breathe so much better. Now I can play outside, and that means so much to me. I love you Momma and I always will. Now, will you scratch my butt...it itches.

This is a special Tail of Devotion
