Arrival Story:
I had always wanted a lab, and one day I had been looking in the local paper and I found a breeder that had several lab pups for sale. Fortunately, I was able to talk my husband, Josh into going to see the pups, and to hopefully purchase one! So we made the hour long drive to Sugarland, Texas, along with a couple we knew from work who has also been looking for a possible addition to their family! Once we got there, it was love at first site. Lola was the first puppy I picked up, and I didn't let go the entire time I was there! It was a done deal! The rest is history...oh yeah, and the couple that came with us went home with Lola's sister! :)

Bio:
Lola was born in Sugarland, Texas on July 15th, 2004. She is now a whopping 85 lbs! She loves trying to play with the cat, even though the cat really doesn't want anything to do with her!

Vet visit

Well, yesterday I had to go to the vet. My ears have really been bothering me lately and I guess Lisa and Josh got worried. Just the other night, they tried to remedy the situation by attempting to clean out my ears with a wet paper towel and a que tip - but no joy. The next day I was at the vet. I'm ok with going to the vet...everyone there is really cool and they love to play with me. Expect this time, I took alittle offense when they told Josh that I should lose ten pounds! I'm a lab...what can I say?? I heard Josh and Lisa talking about putting me on diet dog food. I just hope its as good as the regular dog food! Anyways, the vet also told Josh that I had an infection in both of my ears, but it is common with labs. They gave Josh some cleaning solution and some medicine. Hopefully after a few days, my ears will feel all better again!!
