Arrival Story: Our skin-daughter Jessica adopted Bobo when he was just a few weeks old but she lived in campus housing that didn't allow dogs. He was so small that she was able to keep him hidden for a few months. But by the time he was 6 months old, he could no longer be hidden and she had to find another home for him. So Jessica brought him to our house and we took in her little black child. At first he growled and nipped at us, like he does to all strangers, but after a few days he adopted us and we became his precious family. Now he would readily sacrifice his life to protect us.

Bio: Bobo was born in a shack owned by toothless white trash in Homestead, Florida. Our daughter Jessica answered an ad for puppies in a local newspaper. When she arrived she found two female puppies in good condition, and poor Bobo, a weak runt, in a corner. He was covered with ticks and fleas and was obviously neglected. She knew he would die if he weren't adopted. The hillbillies didn't even know what breed he was and guessed that he was a poodle mix. It was only after we did some research and consulted a vet that we determined he was definitely a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Bobo has every trait of the Cardigans, except that because he was not socialized as a puppy, he is aggressive towards strangers if they come to his house or car. However, he is friendly to strangers when he is away from home and has no territory to protect. Bobo is the smartest and most emotionally complex dog we have ever known. He communicates with us in ways that are truly human. His love for his family is very intense, and he polices his puppy sisters to prevent them from doing anything "wrong" or getting into trouble.
