Arrival Story:
Scooter was a foster dog for Catahoula United Rescue Society (CURS). Scooter was in a low-kill shelter, and was scheduled to be euthanized. The shelter could not bear to see this happen to such a sweet guy, so they contacted our rescue, Catahoula United Rescue Society, and even though he was not a catahoula, we decided to take him in when he had no more time. Poor Scooter was in the shelter for 5 months of his life and we couldn't let such a sweet and wonderful guy go. He is a great dog! Catahoula United Rescue Society is an all-volunteer organization. Bio:
Scooter is one sweet, energetic guy! He would love a home where he can get lots of love and affection from his people, and also be very active. He is very well leash trained and is very happy - always wagging his tail! He loves to give kisses! He is good with other pets and children. He loves people and other animals. Scooter would make a particularly wonderful dog for a jogger or biker, as he is very well behaved on the leash, or would make a great agility partner. He is a great dog in need of a great home! Scooter is being fostered with Linda in Ponte Vedre Beach, Florida.
