Arrival Story:
Just visiting the Animal Care and Control shelter, not looking for a puppy, then she spotted me and kept watching me. We took her to the 'get acquainted room' where she deposited herself into my lap and 'adopted' me.
Bio:
Still insists she's a puppy, but has finally outgrown the need to be picked up. Totally enjoys inter-species play with one of two ducks that live with us. Orr and Derve. Orr is boring, but Dervie really likes to play tag.

Did I mention how I just enjoy the heck out of playing with Marty the cockatiel? Now my mom, treats for that goddess, is something else. She has this cockatiel (Marty) that she lets out of the cage. It isn't too long before Marty begins to 'eye' me lounging. Twice now she has flown and landed on my back. How annoying, espically since I'm not allowed to 'catch her'. In fact the other day, Marty went for a head landing and scared me so much she almost landed close to my eye. WOW!! That was scary. Why ME!!!!??? Marty never bothers Jordi (my sis). Time to go night night for Marty, and I'm very glad.
