Mom's been bad

Mom admits she's been updating my (human) brother's blog more than mine. She said she's sorry, and I get extra treats. This works for me. My human brother is now 6 months old. I think his first word is going to be "Max" or "dog", since there is also a dog at his daycare that's named Max, so he hears my name 24/7. The little guy is starting to pet me, and I love kissing his face. Dad freaks out, but Mom figures it's going to happen since I love the little guy. The little guy doesn't seem to mind too much, and Mom does watches over me closely so I don't get too zealous. Mom has had dogs her entire life versus Dad with me as his first dog. Mom is really proud of how I've been around him, even though he gets more attention than I do. Mom does a great job at giving me attention though.

My dog blog

So, Mom's been busy on the blog for my baby brother and Facebook and ignorning my blog. The nerve. My baby brother turns 4 months tomorrow. We're getting along great. I love to kiss him when he's in his activity center and I'll lay down on the rug in his room when my Mom feeds him. I'm excited for this weekend. I'm going to get spoiled by my uncle and aunt visiting from TN.

Family addition

Mom has been way too busy to write or check my account, but here's an update. I become a brother to my human brother on April 25th. I've loved having Mom home, while she's on maternity leave. I like the little guy. I barked when he first arrived home, but now I love to kiss him on his feet and hands. The little guy even sleeps through my barking. Mom said it's because he heard my barking when he was in her belly. It's amazing!!! Mom and Dad have made sure I'm still getting my love, so we're one big happy family!!

Too Long

I know, I know. . . It's been a long time since I last wrote. Life has been busy. I'm going to have a human baby brother arrive in May! I don't know what all this means. Mom and Dad think I'll be pretty good around him, and I'll let them know when it's time to change the diaper. I've calmed down over the past few years, but still go crazy for Grandma and Grandpa. I love them!

Max

Back from the Ranch

Mom and Dad arrived home from their vacation today. They looked tanned and relaxed. I was excited to see them! I'm exhausted from 5 days at the dog ranch. Mom and Dad brought me back treats from a dog bakery at where they were at. I've been resting all evening, except for stealing 3 biscuits (human, not dog kind) from the cookie sheet on top of the oven. Mom came up to the kitchen after eating dinner, and noticed several biscuits were missing. I was begging for the last two that were sitting there. I'm so sly!

I got one...

jumped up on the counter and swiped it. It was delicious. Mom was surprised, as I've never done that before. I told her, I wanted them bad. I'm begging for a second one right now!

Pupcakes-drooling patiently

I'm trying to be patient, but Mom is killing me with my dessert sitting on the counter. I've been jumping on the counter to try and reach them. She said it needs to cool down before I can eat it. I want it now!! I can't wait to have peanut butter pupcakes!!!!

A Good Day

My Mom and Dad arrived back from vacation a few days ago, and I was so excited to see them! I've enjoyed having them home for a few more days, as we've gone on walks during the day, and I've gotten lots of love. I had fun with Grandma.
Today is a big day, as it's Mom's birthday. She's turning the big 3-0. She's not excited, but I am as get to go to Grandma/Grandpa's house tonight to celebrate. I love car rides!
I hope it warms up soon. I'm ready to sun on our deck (it's been snowing off and on the last few days and it's the end of March).

What a day!

I'm exhausted after today. I had two car rides, a walk, and a trip to Grandma and Grandpa's. I stole a piece of cheese bread off my Grandpa's tray, just as he walked into the kitchen (this is the first time I've stolen food, but it was right at my level). I also had a nice roll in cat poop. I came in and Mom knew I was up to something outside. I was bummed, as she washed it off. I'm tired now.

Tummy Troubles

I'm exhausted! My tummy has been upset for the last two days and my rear end is tired. I've made messes in the house, which I don't do unless I'm sick. Luckily Dad came home early today, or else there would have been more messes. Then, Dad had to leave, so he called Mom to tell her come home b/c I was still getting sick (I'm made another mess in the house). Mom was told she wouldn't be able to get an appointment until tomorrow afternoon, but she could bring in the stool sample. Well, she thought I should get a car ride (which I love) to the vet for the delivery of the sample, and lo and behold they were able to fit me in. Thank goodness! I'm on antibiotics now (bacteria growth in my tummy), but I can't eat until tomorrow evening. Mom says my tummy is really sensitive, as I haven't eaten anything bad for me. I seem to average 2-3 tummy troubles per year. I can't wait to feel better. I'm bummed though b/c I was supposed to go to doggy daycare tomorrow, but Mom canceled because I was sick.
