The life of a Shiba

I have been de-womaned

I normally love my vet, uncle Elbermani, but today I went home in a huff. Maybe it was the drugs.

Mommy dropped me off in the morning and said that I was not longer going to be intact (What the heck does that mean??). The last thing I remember is getting my vaccinations. Mom says they are like army men that go into my blood and prevent me from getting sick. I also got something shoved under my skin. Mommy says it is a microchip—but anyways on with it.

I woke up in a scary place and I was very tired. Uncle Elbermani was talking to me in that silly baby voice. I just ignored him! I did not feel it at first, but I had a small cut. I WAS DE-WOMANED!!!

Now mommy is making me wear a funny collar that wont let me lick it, and Koda had to go to the kennel so he wont hurt me. I hate being fixed!

Playing with my best friends Retty and A-jax

My mommy has lots of friends from school who have dogs. So one day mommy decided that we should get together for a "doggy playdate". Again I was scared to go in the car, because I hate not knowing were we are going, but I ended up at a nice house, and I was greeted by a Pomeranian cross. His name was Rettiger (Retty for short), and he was my new playdate. We ran around for a bit, and then I heard a doorbell. I knew that means company so I ran to the door to see who it was.

Well, I was greeted by a boxer puppy named A-jax. He was full of energy, and bolted from his dads arms before he even had a chance to take his leash off. We growled a bit, and his parents didn't think we would get along. But we loved eachother. We ran around the house, in the back yard, around the couch I don't know how many times, and we crashed into mom a bunch of times too. We now do it every so often. I must say Retty and A-jax are my best non-people friends.

Ok, were are we going? I don't like car rides because I never know where we are going to end up. OK! I have never seen this place before. This girl Tobi-Dawne she comes up and says hi! She is really nice, and she is going to teach my mom how to show me in the ring. First we sniffed all the other dogs, and Krista, Alysia's best dog show friend, was there with my buddy Kane (he is a big Great Dane)! Our first class was really simple. We use clicker training so all we did was play and learn how to use the clicker. And I got lots of treats the whole time! I can't wait to go back next Wednesday.

After class all the other dogs went home, and Krista brought Miss Electra, her pitbull, out of the car to play. And while Tobi-Dawne, Krista, and mommy visited, I got to run arround and play with the big dogs. I can take em'!
