Arrival Story:
We hadn't had a dog at our house for 5 years, and we decided that we needed a house dog. We drove over to the breeder's house and looked at all of his cocker spaniel puppies. We picked Dudley because he kept licking our toes the whole time we were there. On the way home I named him after Dudley in the Harry Potter books, because I knew he was going to be a brat ;).
Bio:
After Christmas in 2004 we noticed Dudley had a lump under his left eye. We took him to the vet to have him checked over and found out he had cancer. The vet said it would only be a matter of time before he started suffering. We decided to have him put to sleep because the cancer was so advanced, and so he wouldn't have to suffer for an extended period of time. He died on February 20, 2005.
