They had no fresh water and no dog houses to lay in. They were both very fearful and it was very clear that she was beat because every time we rose our hand to pet her or any fast movements she will shy away. Later after we adopted her, we discovered it was not just your hand she was scared of, it was everything that looked like a stick. Their yard had poop all over the place and the grass had grown 4 ft high in some places, and they had dug a deep whole to cool themselves off. To make matters worse she had a huge open sore on her butt, so she had trouble sitting down. We brought her home and cared for her, and it turned out that the guys wife had seem her at the pet store and saw how cute and cuddly she was, not really knowing how big she gets.
