Maggie's Adventures

So Sad... I Want My Mommy Back.

I had to move away from my mommy toward the end of December 2007. My mommy really didn't want me to have to go but under some sercomstances, she had no choice. So now I am living with this little white dog that is spoiled rotten and a cat. I get fed way too many treats and I am now almost more than half my weight doubled... The new people were very rude and changed my name. I wish I could live with my mommy again and my mommy misses me terribly. When I get to see her, I get so excited because I finally have someone to play and hold me. My mommy was the best and I would love to have her back!!!

Clement Park

Today my mommy made me get up really early. She told me that we were going to go to this park and walk around this lake. I tried to tell her it was too early but she wanted to go anyway.
So we got out of bed and then she gave me a some very tasty food. The I got to go for a car ride to the park. I was so excited!
When we got to the park I was so excited and I just started running all over the place. I looked around and saw that it was a very large park. There were a lot of people walking around on the path. There were other dogs there too!
As we walked around, there was this cute little poodle that came running up to me. She kinda scarred me, but don't tell anyone. We said our hellos and then I was off on my way.
We later came across this very hansome Golden Retriever. I went to say hi to him but he was all over me! I couldnt even say hi without getting knocked over!
I kept trying to leave but my mom wanted to stay and say hi to this crazy dog and his owner.
Finally we got back to our walk. The crazy dog was following us though...
I never thought the walk would end. It was so hot and I was just plain exhausted! I was so ready to go home and get some nice cold water.
We finally got to the end of the walk and started towards the car. We got in it and started to drive home when my mom started to drive towards the vets office, which is also her work. She left me in the car and then went inside.
After about 10 long minutes she came back to the car and we were on our way again. Then she pulled into the Walmart parking lot. I guess she had to do some shopping.
After about 10 more minutes she came back and we went home.
When I got home I was so tired. I ran straight for the water dish and then found a good place to lay down.
I had so much fun on my walk at the park.
