Hi friends!

Holy moses! I've been gone a long time! My house has been crazy! There are people coming and going all the time. Some people put stinky stuff on the walls. Mommy called it "paint." Whatever it was, she got REAL mad when I got it all over my pretty coat. Then more people came and took away the floors! Someone else came the next day and put new floors in it's place. These floors sure are slippy! Mommy didn't think about us puppies sliding all over the place when we romp and play. I want the carpet back! My toy basket has been moved around so much, I don't even know where to look for it anymore! Sheesh! On a good note, I had a great Christmas. And our Penguins are kicking butt! I heard a terrible rumor that Mommy was looking at baby Bostons. I sure hope I don't have competition moving in. I'll have to show them who the boss is! Well, it's my bedtime. I better get into Mommy's bed so I get the best spot. Have a nice day, friends!

Princess for a Day

I got to try on my Halloween costume and pose for pictures. Mommy bought me a pink princess dress with a hat, and I got to wear a pretty necklace that sparkled in the sunshine. I LOVE Halloween! Today when my human sister wasn't looking, I stole a drink of her pumpkin cappucino. It was sooo good! I heard my Mommy and human sister talking about going on a trip and staying in a haunted house. I sure hope they leave me at home! It's starting to get chilly here in Pennsylvania. Time to go shopping for a new winter coat. I don't like being cold. My Steelers aren't playing very well. On Sunday, Mommy kept yelling at the tv. She used words I'm not allowed to say. We Pittsburghers aren't fair weather fans, so I still say GO STEELERS! And since hockey season is about to start, LET'S GO PENS!! Uhoh, I just left a cappucino fart. Better go before I'm BUSTED! Happy Fall, friends!

A Day to Remember

Now, I wasn't born when September 11th happened, but I know it was something very bad. My family is sad today. We have a big flag hanging from our porch, and a candle for each plane that went down that day. Mommy tried to explain it all to me, but I just don't understand how people can be so mean. I love everyone! This has just been a terrible week. Our Mayor here in Pittsburgh passed away, now 9/11, and in a few days, it will be the anniversary of my Daddy's passing. I never met him, but I love him just the same. Mommy told me that is why she named me Liberty, to remember all the men and women who died to make America free. I'm very proud to have that name. Today I don't want to just send love to my Dogster pals, I want to send a big sloppy kiss around the world to all of the people who hurt. I love you all!

Oh, poo!!!

Hello again friends. I've had a rough week. I got stung by a bee on Monday. It didn't hurt too bad, though. Then my bad knee started to hurt me, but it felt better the next day. THEN...on Thursday I got stung AGAIN!! This time a yellow jacket bit me on the top of my head, and my eye swelled up real bad. Mommy made me go to the doctor and get a shot because I had such a bad allergic reaction. That was just as bad as the bee bite! But the worst of all, the Steelers lost again! The one cool thing was, I got to go shopping with Mommy and my human sister. We went to 3 dog stores, and I got to pick out my very own stroller. It's so neat! It's pink, and has lots of room for me to stretch out. Now I can go anywhere my Mommy goes, and not have to worry about walking too much and my knee hurting. Mommy says I have to go to bed now. My big day is coming!

Hello friends. Boy, am I relieved! I got all upset for nothing, because my human sister didn't go away afterall! She said she couldn't stand to be away from sissy & me, so she stayed home! Yay! 8 more days until my 2nd birthday. I'm very excited. Mommy bought me all kinds of presents, and although my big day isn't until next week, she let me have most of them now. I got a GIANT crate!! Sissy and I like sleeping in our crates because it's our own space. I outgrew my old one, so I'm going to donate it to the homeless doggies now. I got lots of toys, too, and there are BALLOONS EVERYWHERE!!!!! I LOVE balloons!!!!! Sunday is the Bark in the Park. Yippee!! Mommy is worried about my knees and all the walking, so I heard her tell my human sister something about buying me a stroller. I'm not sure what that is, but they seem to be excited about it. I'm doing well since my operation, but I'm a little nervous about the cold weather coming. It makes my new knee sore. The doctor said it's 'cause I have metal pins in my knee, and when they get cold from the weather, it makes the old boo boo hurt. Sissy made me a knee warmer, but if that doesn't work, then the doctor will have to take the pins out. I don't like operations, but the people are always real nice to me. Ooh! Time to eat! I hope everyone has a fun weekend!

Having a bad day

Hello friends. Today is a bad day. I'm shaking because I'm a little nervous. I saw a suitcase! That can't be good! I think my family is going away, and I don't want to go to the kennel. My human sister told me it's okay because only she is going away, and my Mommy is going to be with me. I'm not so sure I believe her. She once told me I was eating steak, and it turned out to be crummy kibble!!! Lies, all lies. But if I didn't love her so much, I wouldn't get upset that she's leaving. She takes good care of me. I sure hope my Mommy can blow up balloons, or I'll be bored to tears! There is one good thing about families going away...when they come back, they bring you stuff!!! Before she leaves I'll act really sad, and then she'll feel bad about going. My sister and I will make out like bandits when she comes back! Muhahaha, I may be small, but I can come up with evil little plans. When you're this darn cute, who can say no?? We're lucky to be dogs, aren't we?? ;) Happy Saturday, everyone, and GO STEELERS!!!!!

Here We Go!

Hi friends! It's that time again....FOOTBALL!!!! I got a new fancy Steelers collar to wear for the games. Maybe now Mommy won't make me wear those goofy hawaiian leis! My human sister is making me a pretty Steelers collar with black-n-gold swarovski crystals. Move over, Tinkerbelle, LIBERTY is the new doggie diva! My birthday is getting closer, and I think I may be getting a Steelers hat and a new jersey! Yay! Daphne is my newest friend, and I'm super excited because she loves the Steelers, too!! My family is coming to visit from Virginia this weekend. Mommy and my human sister are going with them to a place called Kennywood to ride rollercoasters. I'm not allowed to go. I get sad when I can't go places with my family. That's okay, when they're gone, I'll slobber in their shoes! Saturday we're having a BIG birthday party for our Aunt. I wish my cousins were coming from Virginia, too. That way we could all play and have fun while the humans talk. I have 4 cousins...3 German Shepherds (Daisy, Dakota, and Max) and 1 St.Bernard (Dutchess). Oh, and the countdown to my favorite holiday has begun...HALLOWEEN! I still haven't decided what I want to be this year, but it has to be good, because I'm going to enter a costume contest. Well, I have to go now. My lunch is ready! I'm starving! Oh boy!

Hello friends! I want to send butt wiggles to my new friends: Waylon, Willie, and Sparky (who is an angel like my big sister Buttons.) I have been having a great time this summer, swimming and playing ball. But now the weather is very, very hot, and so I've been finding things to do inside in the air conditioning. Mommy blows up balloons, and I get to bop them into the air with my nose. What a fun game! Guess what? Friday (8/4) is my sister's birthday, and we're having a PARTY! That means there will be balloons EVERYWHERE!! My Mommy is making our favorite...banana cake! I LOVE bananas! My birthday is coming up on the 31st of this month, and I get cake again. I think I'll have a peanut butter cake, YUMMY!! My bad knee is holding up great, and I can run and run all I want without boo boos. Although, I haven't had much luck with those mean bees! I got stung a few times in a week, and had to go to the hospital. Then my Mommy got stung 3 times in one day. I don't know why bees are so mean, but they are, and they make me mad! Later this month, I get to go to the Bark in the Park, and meet lots of other dogs. There are even a few that look just like me that come every year. I like it because I get to go for a walk, swim, and play games to win prizes! Last year I made crafts for my Mommy. The nice lady dipped my paw in red, white, and blue paint, and I put my little footprints all over a heart. I think I'll make another one this year. The best part is, my Mommy and I raise money for the homeless dogs in the shelter because people sponsor us, but I don't know what sponsor means. I also give them all my old clothes, leashes, crates, and even my big girl beds. Mommy says I'm very lucky because I'm so loved. It's soo much fun, so all of you Dogster families out there who live in Pittsburgh, you should come. They even have treats there, and places where your Mommy can buy you things. Maybe we can even meet there, and share some doggie ice cream! Well friends, it's way past my bedtime, and my sister says I need my beauty sleep. I'm not sure, but I don't think that was very nice? That's okay, her ears flop! Wags-n-kisses, everyone!

It's been a long time!

Hello friends. It's been a long time since I've been online. It's warm outside, and I've been outside playing all day!! I get to swim, play ball, chase bugs, and I even made a new pal that looks just like me! My Mommy got me my very own cd! It's got nature sounds, so when I take my nap, I can listen to the birds chirping, and waterfalls. It's neat! Maybe if you ask your Mommies, you can get one, too. I get so relaxed, I snore. My sister think's it's funny, but she doesn't know she snores, too! haha Joke's on her! Hope all of my friends are enjoying the sunshine and pretty flowers! Happy Summer!
