Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Getting dried off after a bath, digging, running away from home for hours at a time, going for rides in the car

Fart noises, not being able to sit right on top of us, taking a bath, being hot, having his tail tuched

Favorite Toy:
His big "bro" Kobi, little "sis" Annie, balls, stuffed animals

Favorite Food:
Ice cubes, and treats of any kind

Favorite Walk:
The boy has miles and miles to run!! His favorite adventures are to the Columbia River

Best Tricks:
Atti can sit and lay and working on bringing the ball back EVERY time

Arrival Story:
Atticus came to us after our "brother" of 8 years passed away. Atti has had some big paw prints to fill and has done an amazing job!

This pup is the most human like dog I have ever seen. Hes just like a little boy. Atticus is kinda mean when hes not getting what he wants. Cries/screams (yes screams) when he has to wake up or cant come inside. Wants his own space or to be right on top of you and will push and wiggle untill he gets his way. HATES having a bath but loves to get dried off and cuddle in his robe. And he has more toys then he will ever need!! But hes our boy and we love him.

With a heavy heat I, Atticus' mom, throw in the towel. It has been almost three years since I have seen my best friend and I have decited to move on. I dont know where he is and hope that he is safe. I have gone through a lot it those three years and I have never cried more then I have for my lost companion. I now have a 7 month old daughter who lights up at the sight of a dog, I wish she could have met Atti. Sadly I have NO desire to get another dog. I want my daughter to know love you feel for a dog like Atticus but I would NEVER want her to feel the pain I feel every time I think of him. I hope one day a new little pup will come in to our lives and bring a fraction of love to my new family Atticus did.

I have to say there are not many things that bother me. Im pretty even keeled, enjoy a good joke for the most part... But recently a problem that I hardly notice has become a problem for those around me. So Im gonna get right to the point, I fart. Not just little ones that my family laughes at and forgets but gnarley ones that they have to make a huge deal out of. I really didnt see the problem untill recently. The first sign was when I was PASSED OUT on the couch then all of a sudden I had a very rude awakening. At first I thought someone had broken a rotten egg, but then all three of them were covering thier noses, fanning the air with thier hands and saying how gross I was. But the second was even worse, I cant believe Im even going to tell you this. My man and girl were in the living room watching TV when they smelled a smell they couldnt even discribe. Like any good family they started pointing fingers at eacher. Both denied the charge up and down. So naturally they start asking eachother where I was. My girl gets up and looks out the window to find me sleeping right next to the door. She opened the door and just about passes out. Thats right I was out side and my smell was inside. Talk about gross.

Wow, have my guardian and I been slackin' on this diary thing or what!? Summer has been awesome, hot, but awesome. So here are a few highlights thus far.

-My family is trying to get "in shape" now Im not really sure what that means but I know it involves them going on bike rides almost every night. We live way out in the country so Annie, Kobi, and I get to come along without leashes. We have the BEST time. I try my hardest to push Annie in to the tires, and get a huge kick out of it when I do. Kobi takes this time to stock small animals, its so funny he will be on alert, paying no attention to me then out of now where I tackel him, again I crack my self up. But the best part is when Ann and I nip at whoevers riding and make them shake thier leg so we will quit, and even better if we can throw them a little off balance. They think its funny, they know rides wouldnt be the same without us.
-There is now only 1 cat. His name is Peebo and he is so wild!!! I will be sleeping and he comes up and attacks my head, I try to stay still in hopes that he will give up, but he wants to make me mad and knows that if he touches my tail (that makes me mad more then anything!!!!) the game will be over. Ill chase him away for a minute, but just as I fall back asleep... Again my family thinks its funny, they say something to the effect of " a taste of my own medicine." Whatever that means.
-My favorite guardian (J) was gone for 7 days and didnt even tell me where she was going. Turns out she was in a far away place called New Orleans. When she got home she showed us pictures of all the things she seen and said that it was really good to be home. She told me she missed me most of all (duh). The best part of her trip was going to a makeshift animal shelter where she walked a dog and had a long talk with the lady who was runningthe shelter. She said it was really sad but all the dogs at the shelter are in great care thanks to the amazing staff and volunteers.
-My first trip to Pet-Co. It was awesome, we picked up a barrier for my new suv, err, I mean J's new suv. Now, if I had known that I was going with her to pick up something that was going to make me stay in the very back, Id of rather stayed home. I hate not being able to sit shotgun and crawl in to her lap whenever I feel.
-Last but not at all least, I turned 1!!!! Thats right, Annie and I are a year old. J is supper stoked, she says between me having parvo when I was just 3 months and Annie living in a not so safe home for the first 6 months of her life, being 1 is quite an accomplishment!!!
