Leave a bone for Sprinkles (Vayda Sprinkletoes)
Sprinkles is the name she goes by... but we also call her: Beauty, Baby Dog, Chubicles, Snuggle Bum, and any number of nonsense baby talk names!

Affection, attention... basically being adored 24-7. She loves family cuddle time when we all snuggle in bed together! She also loves to visit family and friends! She also enjoys car rides and chasing leaves!
Big water jugs and balloons, they terrify her!!! Also, grabby children, being alone, being ignored, and when her sister tries to steal all the attention! She also hates horse & buggys! And she is somewhat possesive of her mommy, daddy, nana, and food
Right now her favorite toys are anything she finds under things that she's not supposed to chew!
Any meats or cheeses drive her crazy! And she loves Yip-Yaps!
The park near our house where she can run free with her Daddy
Pretty dance (she dances in circles on her hind legs when you hold a treat above her head) and roll over. She also knows a number of things we say and what they mean ie. "Is daddy home?"; "You wanna go see Nana?"; "Go to bed"; "Give kisses"; "Go bye-byes"
We take regular trips to the pet store nearby just to adore the cute little pups there. One day w!e saw a cute little girl that we loved and wanted, well... I wanted her most. But, we weren't allowed dogs at our apartment at the time. I found out that this dog was called a Jug (Jack Russell/Pug mix) and immediately fell in love with this Hybrid breed. So, when we finally moved into our new apartment (which does allow dogs) we looked into some reputable breeders in the area who bred Jugs and we decided to check out the newest litter. We fell in love with the runt of the litter and put a down payment on her right away! We spent weeks deciding on a name for our new baby before we were allowed to bring her home. I like Vayda (a reference to a character in one of my favorite movies "My Girl") but Rodney thought it sounded like a Star Wars reference. So finally we decided on Vayda Sprinkletoes (she has multicolored toes), calling her Sprinkles for short. We visited her a few times, then finally brought her home to become our first "child", just about a year ago!
Sprinkles will soon be going in for a spay operation, so hopefully she will be back to her energetic self again, after that! She loves to play with her sister, Lucy and all of her friends! She visits Nana's house at least twice a week and gets to see her pug friends, Cookie and Ming Mei! Sprinkles is convinced she is a human and will have no talk of anything else. If you call her a dog, she looks at you as though you have deeply offended her! Of course, I suppose it doesn't help that she rides in the car with us almost everywhere we go, sleeps in our bed at night, wears clothing, and is treated almost just like our human child would be (if we had any)... What can I say?? She's adorable and she's my baby! You must be able to relate!!
How dare you say I'm not human?!?

We went camping for Memorial Day weekend with a bunch of people! We got to see Nana & Pappas and Aunt Cookie & Uncle Pugsley (they are pugs), Nana B & Paw-Paw, Auntie Nean & Jeff, cousin Dante, and some new friends, Joe & Linda, and George & Holly! I met them all last year on Memorial Day camping trip #1 for me. I was only 3 months old then! But, it was the first time we ever went camping with my sister, Lucy and my new Uncle Pugsley! We got to try lotsa yummy camp foods! We had little bits of ham, bacon, eggs, liver, potatoes, and bread crusts from mountain pies! It was so fun! We had to wait around while mommy and daddy set up our tent, which was no fun, though. :-( We barked and barked for their attention, but we soon realized that this trip was not centered around us! I still have my doubts about that, though...
We got to take lots of walks and go potty in the trees! There were sooooo many smells there! We even got to take a walk with Paw-Paw. We also saw lots and lots of other doggies nearby! Mostly big ones, but there were a few small ones like us. There were four big doggies across the road from us who liked to bark. We told them to be quiet, but that just got us into trouble with our mommy and daddy for barking, too. We had to sleep in our crate inside the tent, because mommy and daddy have a big bed that starts out flat, then makes noise and rises into a big bed shaped balloon! If we slept with them, our nails might break their bed... But, we had a blanket and it was nice and cozy in there!
Uncle Pugsley loved it there and so did Lucy. But, Cookie wanted to stay in her camper the whole time. She's a little princess who doesn't really like camping that much. I can relate, because I wanted everyone's attention the whole weekend, but I had to share with all of those people and all of the things to do! Overall, though... I think I like this camping thing! I'd like to go again soon! :-)

Yesterday I was at my Aunt Mandy's house and I was casually walking into the house from on the porch when I noticed something tickling my butt! I turned around to see what it was and I felt something bad happen! There was a little black flying thing that Mommy calls a wasp sitting on my butt! I think it bit me!!! Then it flew onto my Aunt's leg and she batted it off onto the ground. I decided to show it who's boss and smacked it! Little did I know that this tiny little thing could pack a mean punch! It bit my foot too!! Then my butt started to swell and I couldn't figure out why it hurt so much! I kept turning in circles, over and over and over, but it wouldn't stop hurting!!! So, I decided to yelp and bark for help! Mommy quickly gave me a doggy portion of Children's Benadryl and soon I felt all better! But, I still kept licking my paw where that thing bit me because it was sore... :-(
Later that day, I saw more of those little black flying things and I remembered how much it hurt when it bit me before!!! I was a little paranoid and kept turning in circles again, making sure there wasn't another one getting ready to bite me again! So, from now on I will remember that the little black flying things are BAD!!!!
