Well, I must say that things are going well with my new sister ; she likes to play a lot, then we both have a little snooze; She didn't know how to play with another dog but boy did she ever learn quickly;
She not shy any more; we steal each others toys and make em squeek. I have to watch her; when they call me to give me hugs 'n kisses, she parks her little butt in front of me to try and get it all but they know and make sure that I get my loving too...
I found out she likes spaghetti too ; the sauce gives us little red beards after we have some. I don't think she was used to eating anything but her dog food; she's like me; she still eats her dog food but she does enjoy the good tasting stuff.
I'm not lonely now that I have her; when our furless parents are working I can play with her and she likes to sleep too. We're both really happy when they arrive for lunch 'n supper.
Because Daisy's not used to the large fenceless yard, greybeard dad built a huge enclosure in the yard with access to the patio 'n the patio door (shorty mom likes that cause she doesn't have to stagger outside in the morning with Daisy on a leash and that even before she has had a cup of coffee and with her hair standing out every which way). She was used to just opening the front door and letting me out; greybeard's okay, he gets up later.
I really like it if she's there and greybeard has to get up... she tells us to go 'n get him and we get to jump on him and give him lots'n'lots of kisses and he laughs. If he gets up later, then she just sends us back to bed with him by saying ..."allez faire dodo" so we just flop down cuddled up to him and sleep. It's soooo hard being a dog y'know *toothy schnauzer grin*.

Today we went for a ride and we came back with a new little sister for me. Her name is Daisy. She was a little nervous when we got her but that was normal cause she lived with someone, then went to the shelter for a couple of days before we went to get her.
We're best friends now after four days. We both chase each other around and go to sleep together on the bed or the couch and we like daddy to rock us.
He's such a softy toffee when we give him kisses 'n he spoils us a lot like everybody in the family.
I'm able to roam around outside but Daisy has to be tied up because she doesn't know the size of our yard. She has to get used to it before she can be loose in it. In the meantime, I play with her but patrol to make sure that there are NO bunnies, cats or bird on our grass !
Well, woof woof, have to go back to play 'n then have a little snooze.
