Likes: A long ear scratching, a trip to the dog park, chasing birds, and a game of fetch.
Pet-Peeves: Balloons, any ball bigger than my head, the vaccum, small animals, loud noises, when Biz gets something and I don't, and skatebording teens/various other intruders.
Favorite Toy: The trusty tennis ball.
Favorite Food: It's so hard to choose! I eat EVERYTHING, including peanut butter, bread, meat, dog food, barbie heads, tennis balls, and plush toys. People even call me "the goat".
Best Tricks: I can dance on two legs, catch a frisbee, jump and try to eat snowflakes bubbles and leaves, and play a mean game of fetch.
Arrival Story: I was in a cage at a PACA fair next to a Petco in New Mexico. I had just turned one, and I was sad because my owner had abandoned me. Then a family jumped out of a car to look at the dogs, and ended up getting me! They loved that my name was like there first dog's name. Our names both begin with "B" and instead of an "s" end with a "z". Betzy and Bizy...doesn't that sound nice? Plus, even though I'm a mutt, I'm mostly golden, like Biz is. He was lonely at the time, so the family adopted me and took me home! I was so happy. I was dancing around the house and licking my new family. I've been with them ever since!
Bio: Since I was adopted in New Mexico, I have lived in two more states, moving with the family to Oregon, and then to my current home!
Forums Motto: Betzy: "I eat everything!"
The Groups I'm In: !!!! SQUIRRELS! (And other small animals we all love to chase), "Canadian Golden Retrievers" who want to be Friends with other Goldens..., *~ I ♥ SuPeR DoGs!! ~*, Addicted to Flip-Flops, All Those Golden Possibilities

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Ouch! I don't no why my people like American Idol so much. It's loud and hurts my earz. Their's always a debate afterwords, with stuff like, "He should bee voted off", and, "She was horiball tonite." Personally, I just don't understand.
I new they were leaving that morning. Mistress ran round rooms putting stuff into strange giant containers, cleaning up the house, and sighing. Girl gathered up her favorite readings and Sister "charrged her game-boy", whatever that means. (I think it has something to do with the little box that she stares at that makes annoying sound.) Master told Mistress he'd "Get home earlie". Then the annoying "punk" (That's what Bizy calls him) from across the street came over looking at us while Mistress went through a list labeled, instructions.
Actually I really was confused about it all intill Bizy filled me in. Apparently, my people were going on a "vaykayshun" on the holiday called "Spring's Brake". Which meant they were leaving. Which was really-really sad.
Of course me and my brother had to try some attempt to get them to not go. Sabatoge? Some complicated plot? Nah..that would be to hard. Instead we lingered in the garage, waiting for Mistress or someone to open the car door. When she finally did, we jumped inside! Of-course, then she called us, and Bizy quickly ran away laughing. Faithfully I stayed long enough to at least get a bone out of the deal. Coward, (I still don't really no why brother was laughing, and when I asked him he just laughed again.)
Finally Master, Girl, and Sister arrived home, patted us, and got into the car, and drove away.
They didn't come back for 5 days, but the Punk did. And now, even after many pats and ear scratches, I'm not sure I'll ever be ok, with Spring's Brake.
I love curling up under the coffee table and watching the window with one of my people. One time they were watching it, and these strange dogs came running through the window and I naturally barked and ran up to see them. The strangest part was that then the people started laughing...
