Wow. I never thought I would be chosen for dog of the day, but I have to say that I am so thankful for the honor. I would like to thank the Academy and the Hollywood Foreign Press and anyone else who had a hand in deciding that a great dog, such as me, should be considered for dog of the day.
Also, thanks to all of my furriends for supporting my family through the loss of my big brother, Little Moe. We could not have done it without you!
So tonight was no fun. Mom and dad noticed this enormous outbreak of crusty scabby things all over my back & a rash on my underside....so of course, off to the vet we go.
We waited for an hour before they dragged me back to check me out. The doctor thinks it is an allergy thing, but thinks now it is all infected. I am not really scratching at it - or so mom thinks - but they are everywhere and when she scratches me, all my fur that was over each bump falls out and I have all these bare spots on my back now.
I guess mom also told them the embarrassing diarrhea thing and now I am on a medication for that - I have C. Diff overgrowth in my belly for some reason or another and now I have to take Metronidazole...whatever that is!
The doc put me on a steroid & an antibiotic to help take care of my skin issues. I didn't realize that my skin was as bad as Moe's used to be! Maybe mom will forget about the doggie dermatologist that Moe went to and I won't have to go....or maybe all this will just get better and I won't have to worry about that at all?!?!?!
Anyways, just thought I would post an update about how poopy the vet is.....poopy, get it?
