Update on Me!

Hello Everyone! I just stopped by to tell you, all is well with me. My eyes are doing well. I am keeping up with doggie school and Mom says we have a Rally trial coming up. Keep your paws crossed! I'll keep you posted.

Hot Dog!

I did it! This weekend was my first ever A.K.C. Rally trial. It was in Mandeville, Louisiana. My Mom and I entered as Rally Novice A. Saturday, we didn't even qualify. I told my Mom to keep her chin up and let's give it our best on Sunday. And guess what? I did it! I won second place and got my first Rally Novice leg! Who's the Hot Dog now?

The nice lady who took my picture said she wanted to make sure she got a good shot of me. She said she was going to send it to AKC because I am a mixed. I asked my Mom what mixed meant and she said it meant, "so darn cute!"

IT'S TODAY!!!!

Today is here! I'm so excited! Why? Because it's my BIRTHDAY!!!!! I'm 5 years old! I got plenty of kisses this morning when Mom woke me up for breakfast too. I'm going to Puppy Love tomorrow for doggie day-care. I just can't wait to see all of my friends.

Fun Day at the Fun Match!

Boy, did I have fun today! We woke up very early, even my Daddy. I knew something was going on because my Mom gave me a pill for motion sickness. I was going for a ride in the car. My Mom and Dad took me to Kiln, Mississippi. Some of the dogs there barked with a funny accent. I sniffed and sniffed to see where I was. I have never smelled some of these animals before. My Mom said the place houses cattle some of the time. We walked around the building and I could see inside. THERE WAS AGILITY STUFF ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!! I was at my very first Fun Match! I didn't care that it didn't count. I was there to have fun and take the next leap in my favorite sport. I even let the judge measure me for my jump height. I was so excited and tried, I fell asleep on the ride home.

Delgado Vet Tech Day!

Yesterday, my Mom and Ms. Cecile brought me and my one of my best friends, Harry to the Delgado Vet Tech Day across the street from City Park. I was so excited because that was the first time I have been to something like this. My friend, Harry, has been to a few such events. He said we were going to have a great time and boy, was he right. We dressed up and had our pictures taken. Don't we look cute? We got lots of treats too! I can't wait to go to my next big dog fair.

Dog of the Day!

Thanks, Dogster, for making me Dog of the Day! It sure makes me feel special. So, you're wondering what I've been up to? Last April 29th I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. I was only 3 and a half years old! Two weeks prior, I had just had my yearly checkup and had no cataracts at that time. I had my first appointment with the ophthalmologist by mid May. My cataracts were very aggressive. My surgery was June 20th and by that time I had no sight at all.

My Mom and Dad and my doctors took very good care of me. My sisters were very good nurses for CATS!

My surgery went very well. By October, my Mom and I started a new Agility school. I just love it! We have already graduated from 2 classes. My last graduation was just last Wednesday. My family got me a great graduation gift. It is an agility jump! I will get it next week when I start the next level of classes. I’m sure my Mom will update my page with a picture of me with my jump.

Today is Baby's Sweet 16th Birthday!
