Arrival Story:
Odie is a sweet, young puppy with a lot of love to give. He loves walks, snuggling on the couch, playing with toys and having his chest scratched. Odie is up to date on his shots and is neutered. He gets along well with cats, dogs, people, including young children, and is well-behaved in public. He does have some bad habits such as begging for food and trying to jump up for attention but we're working on it. He's a quick study and is learning that he will get much more attention if he sits instead of jumps. Odie has a beautiful red leopard coat with one blue and one brown eye. His blue eye has a tiny bit of brown at the top, very unique. He was probably abused so he tends to be submissive to people and dogs, is a little fearful of quick movements and loud voices, but is starting to realize that he's safe now. Consistency, patience, loving attention and socialization will go a long way towards helping Odie gain confidence. He has a normal amount of puppy energy but is fairly calm around the house and doesn't seem to be destructive or a big chewer. Odie is being fostered in Maine
