Leave a bone for Snuggles-TX-Adoptable

Nicknames: info@catahoularescue.com

Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 21st 2006
Arrival Story: Notes: 3-15-06 Snuggles was rescued from the Galveston county animal shelter when he was just 5 weeks old. He was the runt of the litter and just barely 2 pounds. One of the photos was taken the first week he was in his fosterhome. When he was tiny, Snuggles was leopard spotted, but guess what; a leopard CAN change his spots ... and Snuggles did. He now has a sleek, soft yellow coat with just a hint of darker patches.
Another surprise is that, as Snuggles grows, his ears are growing more than his legs. We originally thought that Snuggles was a Blackmouth Cur/ Catahoula (all of his siblings were leopard or brindle), but he now appears to have some Beagle in the mix. He's about 3 months old and a really cute little guy. He loves attention and playtime and lives up to his name when it's nap time. He's in a home with many other dogs and has learned to be very respectful of his elders. He would love to chase the cat, but she won't have any of that. Since she's no fun, he leaves her alone.
Snuggles is up to date on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. He will be neutered when he is 4 months old. He's doing well on his housebreaking, but, like any baby, still has accidents.

Bio: Catahoula Rescue Inc is an all volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit corportation. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The fosterhomes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered if old enough. They have been wormed and tested for heartworms if over 4 months of age when rescued. All dogs are on heartworm preventative. We require a minimum $100 adoption fee to help offset these costs.
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the online adoption application available at our main website www.catahoularescue.com From the homepage, follow the link "How to Adopt". Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the fosterparent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue.
