Arrival Story:
Mickie came into the shelter where I work when she was 5 weeks old. She and her mom were brought in because she owner's landlord said they could no longer keep the dogs. Mickie was fostered by my co-worker. When it came time for Mickie to go up for adoption, she was adopted by a family with a lot of very excitable children. While the children were "kicking and hitting her playfully", Mickie bit one of the children on the lip. So they brought, poor scared Mickie back and she had to be quarentined at 9 weeks old. After this, my boyfriend and I were talked into taking her home one evening, and we fell in love!
