Arrival Story:
Hi, My family calls me Frisco. Yes I have a family now, thanks to Tails of Hope Animal Sanctuary. My foster family adopted me! They had lots of foster dogs before me, but now I am their forever dog. I can still be VERY shy, but making progress. Sometimes they still call me Mr. Shivers. I like all my doggy and human friends, although still am very shy around strangers. My cousins Hugo the Mastiff, Roger the 100 lb mix, Angel the Shepard, Hans the Boston and Clancy and Rosebud the cats are great fun. Once I taught them who is the boss (ME), we got along just fine. I am learning tricks like sit and stay lay down, off and hi-five; getting pretty good they tell me. Maybe the Chihuahua part of me makes me so smart. Toys are new to me but lots of fun although the squeakers are scary. I have 2 beds of my very own to hide treats in, and I like that a lot. Green beans and mango are my favorite treats. My Oma Katie and Tante Caroline spoil me, I like that. I have been to Key West, Disney, Lake Erie, the Finger Lakes, the beach, on car rides, camping, hiking, letterboxing, swimming and out to happy hour. Everyone says I am cute; look for yourself. If you think a dog might be right for your family, consider fostering one through Tails of Hope. You may get lucky and find a perfect dog, like me. The terrific volunteers who arranged to have me taken from the shelter in West Virginia, transport me to Hagerstown, and arranged for my medical care saved my life. Many big, wet doggy kisses for all you volunteer resue humans do for furry and feathered friends. Thanks, Frisco “The Frisco Kid” Warren

Frisco is now a Pet on Wheels though the county's program. We visit a local nursing home and give kisses. We also have some foster dogs come and live with us. Peedy, my last foster brother, has a web page so my mom made one for me too. I am so sad that my pup-pal Lucy is at Rainbow Bridge. I know that Oma and Gramma Eleanor met her there...
