Arrival Story:
Oreo was one of a litter of puppies that a friend's dog had. I was only in elementary school at the time - nowadays I'd never buy a dog, there's so many great dogs in rescue! I chose the girl of the litter... which I'm very thankful for, as many other people asked the family to sell them the famale, even offered a lot of money. I'll bet money they wanted to breed her... I got her spayed, of course.

Bio:
Oreo does not live with the rest of us, but stayed with my parents when I moved out. My dad retired that same year and said there was no way I could take her from him, he wouldn't let me. She is much happier staying in the home she grew up in, with my dad who dotes on her, and a new "little sister" - my brother's rottweiler - and that she would not have adjusted well. I know she is well-loved, but I miss her so. (Of course every phone conversation I have with my dad revolves around the dogs - first thing I ask is, "How's my girl?")
