Arrival Story:
Well, I've alwas wanted another dog since our beloved Yvette died when I was 6. But my parents didn't have the time for it. But when I was 12, they finally agreed. We looked around for a bit looking for the right breed and when we found the Entlebucher Mountain dog in a book we knew it was the right dog for us. We started to contact breeders and finally found one whose dog was pregnant. When Alisha was 3 weeks old, we first visited her. We then didn't know which dog of all those cute puppies to pick so I just put my hand down into the box they all were in an Alisha immediately started to chew gently on my fingers. (She still does that to people she loves) And then we knew she was our dog. A few weeks later we collected her and since then she's brought so much fun int o our lives.

Our Alisha went to the Bridge on August 4th 2008. Four weeks earlier she had started to loose her appetite and the vet diagnosed her with liver cancer. 3 weeks later the cancer had already spread so badly that her belly was full of water from the infection. We spent one last weekend with her, spending every minute with her and on Monday we released her from her illness and she went to the bridge where she will wait for us to meet again. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten! We love you Alisha!!!!
