Likes:
Going for walks in the mountains, swimming down the river and going for drives in the truck.
Pet-Peeves:
Having his weekly wash! Also heights, but being a loyal Dogue he follows me anywhere, it was on Mt Riley that I found out he doesnt like heights (see pic), poor lil guy was shaking but stayed there with me, sooo loyal!!!
Favorite Toy:
His little M&M soft toy (see picture).
Favorite Food:
Typical large breed dog, if it can be eaten, he'll eat it and if it can't be eaten he'll give it a go anyway.
Favorite Walk:
Muruwai Beach and Waikumete Cemetary, Auckland
Best Tricks:
Bilingual, is very quick on picking up new things, usually takes four biscuits and he's got it.
Arrival Story:
He was the last of the litter in a pet shop, nobody wanted him due to a series of dog attacks here in NZ involving various breeds and he also has a scar on his head from a byopsy that was done when he was a puppy
Bio:
Mack was born on 7th of November, 2002, he was 8kg's at 3 months when I got him, very under weight for his breed, but like I say, he wasnt wanted and was the last to go in the litter. I say he is RESCUED becuase the pet shop he was in should not have been able to sell puppies, I found out after that the shop had had it's licence suspended due to poor conditions for the animals, hence Macks poor condition and weight.
Mack is great with other dogs, although after being attacked 4 times by large dogs (and one poodle..you had to be there...haha) he is a little cautious of large dogs now.

Well, Mack and Belle are now living in Canada, they spent the 30 or so hours in their crates for the long flight to Toronto and now they are enjoying the Sun, Sand and.......Poluted waters of Lake Ontario!
Also, on a sader note, Dutchess, Macks first Girlfriend and her little male Bordeaux friend, Rusty have passed away, reasons unknown but more then likely due to Heat Stroke, very sad indeed.

Had one of Macks boys over for the night, first time Mack has seen his son since he was born 8 weeks ago.
It's funny, Mack took to him like he had known him for ever, Belle just wanted to smother him and not in a good way!
Anyway, dropped the little fella off to my Aunty who has him now, she of course was over the moon with him, a smaller version of Mack which is exactly what she wanted, me...I was sad to see him go after having him suggling with me in bed, this breed is so snuggly it's amazing, they always have to be near you.
Anyway, sad to see the little guy go, can't wait to head back home and take Mack around to see him.

Macks girlfriend is back, she's a female Bordeaux named Dutchess, that's her in the photo of both dogs in the back of the truck.
Amazing, after a year of not seeing Dutchess, she knew when she saw the truck pull up that it was us and then when she saw Mack, it was all on!
Puppy love, so cute!
