Congratulations to me J-Dawg!!!! I graduated from puppy obedience school last night. I did sit, laydown, stay and roll over!!! I'm so smart. Mommy works with me ever morning and every night. Sometimes I don't feel like it and I give her a hard time but she continues to be patient with me. Someday I'm going do lots of tricks and win a prize.

At approximately 10pm on May 2nd I lost my first tooth. Mommy was real excited but thought I was a little too young to be loosing teeth. I've been acting a little weird all day. Whining and chewing more than normal. Finally I have some relief. Mommy will try to take pictures of my snaggle tooth mouth tomorrow to show off to her friends. Oh boy!

Jordan's Life

I was born Jan 18th, 2006. I came all the way from North Carolina to Illinois. Wow!! What a plane ride. It was incredible. But I wasn't alone. My litter mate Latte was with me. I almost didn't make it. Some folks came to see me and my brothers and sisters and they took the chocolate lab. But before they left the young woman called her sister and asked did she want a puppy too. Well my soon to be mommy said "yes". Good for me. I was the most hyper in the bunch. I ran right up to her and said “ruff” take me please.

As I was saying I flew all the way from NC. We had fun on the airplane. We pooped and played for two hours. When we arrive in Illinois we found out it's very cold here. We didn't like it much so we curled up real close next to each other. After leaving the airport we headed over to PetSmart. We were a hit. Me and my cuteness. I stole the show. I really got peoples attention when I pooped in Aisle 5. Nobody cared and I realized at that point I can get away with so much because I'm little and cute. My blue eyes knock em dead.

On the evening of my arrival my new mommy came to get me. She was so excited. She saw my big blue eyes and thought "Oh my what have I done" I just kept right on pooping and peeing everywhere. (I've got better control of that now) Next I went to my new home. I didn't sleep well that night, I barked until I couldn't bark anymore. I was hoarse until I got some water down my throat. Mommy slept in the kitchen with me the whole night. It felt so good. I didn't want her to go to work so she left her sweater for me to sleep on while she was away. She was so worried she came home in the middle of the day to check on me. Of course I got out of the kitchen and had a couple accidents but she didn't punish me. She just cleaned it up. I hate being locked up in the kitchen. But until I get better bladder control I have to remain in my safe area.

The next few nights were much of the same. Me crying and whining and barking. Not because I needed anything. I just hate being left alone. I'm much better now that I'm being crated. I'm learning that outside is the poop place and the house is off-limits to pooping.

Me and mommy go for a run three days a week. and we go to the dog park on Tues and Thurs and the weekends. When I'm at the dog park I play with only big dogs and they must be female because I'm a ladies man. I have them chasing me all over the park. Just wait til I get older. My mommy is going to have her hands full.
