Favorite Food:
Millie's favorite food changes frequently. It usually depends on what I'm eating at that moment...
Favorite Walk:
Millie's favorite walk is toward the car, on our way to visit friends or family. She enjoys walks, but because of a past hip injury, they need to be short - usually just around the neighborhood.
Best Tricks:
Millicent seems to think tricks are beneath her. She can sit and shake, but usually bows her head while doing so - obviously embarrassed. My favorite thing she does is her talking. She's the most vocal dog I've ever met.
Arrival Story:
I checked the Wisconsin Humane Society's website, saw her, and fell in love with her immediately. When I first met her, she was curled up on a cot. She was so depressed. She looked up briefly when we walked into her room, but then put her head back down. I walked up to her, knelt down and began to talk to her, pet her, and then I bribed her with a treat the volunteer provided. She soon perked up and even played a little. I brought her home that night - and she's been a valued member of the family ever since. It's as though she's been with us forever. She's been a blessing.
Bio:
Millie's personality is incredible. Her dog-cousins consist of a Border Collie and a Rottweiller - and her brother (George) is a German Shepherd mix. All males - and each of them know she's the boss. :)
