Any old where, I like to run about town, as long as it's dry.

Bio:
My first owner was not very kind. And apparently I was not the only one who thought so. He was shot and killed and I still get stressed out when people get loud. That's how I ended up at the pound. I was starved nearly to death. In fact, even after regular feedings at the pound for a month (the second time) I was still so skinny, it hurt for people to look at me. They said they could see every single hip bone, rib and vertabrae sticking out under my fur and I had burn marks on the underside of my ears. No one even knew I was mostly Pit Bull until several weeks after finding my forever home when I began to put on weight. Surprise! I was so afraid of people at first, I couldn't look you in the eye unless I was in another room, hiding half of my face behind a door or a couch, poised to run away to safety at any second. I didn't even know how to be pet - at first it scared me. But, after a few weeks of watching my people pet their first dog, Miss Thing, I saw it might not be so bad. Now I am one snuggly love bug. The girl compares me to the heroine of The Princess and the Pea. I guess I am still suspicious by nature, 'cause they say I am the best guard dog. I love the solo 3am house patrol, it's my "me" time. Plus I have that scary sounding junkyard dog bark when something's not right. To be honest, other than Miss Thing I don't really trust other dogs. Mostly I am worried they want to eat all of my food and take my people away from me. But now that she's not here anymore, even I have to admit I am lonely during the day. So maybe a new friend is just what I need. Single ladies only need apply. Wink.
