Gus was a birthday present. The best gift I could have hoped for. He is our heart.

Bio:
Gus has really big feet. He's a sweetheart too. A bit skiddish, but once he warms up to you, you are a friend for life. Aroooh!! His best friend is Tucker, also a basset. They are best buddies. He also has a cousin Sandy whom he loves to play with. She is a Lab/German Shep. Gus went to the Bridge on January 23,2008. He had been throwing up and we thought he had pancreatitus, after exploratory surgery and a biopsy of his stomach, we learned he had stomach cancer that had spread to his lymp nodes. We did what was best for our Boy and helped him to the Bridge. We miss him every day. It has been very hard on us, but we know he's playing and having fun until we meet again one day.
