Arrival Story:
We were looking for a puppy. We knew we wanted something small and something cute. Per a co-workers suggestion I checked out Tricia's Dog House right here in town (as I was told they often have small breed dogs). I met little Wrigley that afternoon and that evening we went home together as a family. Wrigley's mother was 'dumped' off at the owner of the rescue's home out in the country. She took her in to be spayed--and the vet discovered she was pregnant. 2 puppies were born. The only one that survived was Wrigley. It was hard to take him away from his mother who was so protective.
We are not sure of his mix. His mother appeared to be a schnauzer/terrier mix of some sort and was about a foot hight and 12 lbs. The owner of the shelter suspects cocker spaniel may be in the dad. The vet thinks he has a lot of lhasa in him.
Wrigley is having fun being in his new home and exploring all over. He is lovable and gentle. He is quiet and hasn't even made a mess in his crate.

Wrigley will have a sister as of April 6th. Her name is Honey and she is a year old small Brussels Griffon who we located here on Dogster Adoptions. We are so excited to be adding to our family. Wrigley will make a great big brother!

Wrigley is now 4 months old. He weighs in at a whopping 8 lbs. He will eat anything--and that means anything--dirt, leaves, rocks, bugs (living or dead) ect. He is afraid of everything--Dogs, vacuum cleaners, ect. We think he needs some more socializing! He doesn't like Elphaba very much because she is so big and playful and he's a chicken butt. Poor poor wrigley....all this food and no friends to share it with!

Wrigley is now around 5 and 1/4 lbs--and growing! He is getting rather pudgy and is addicted to eating (eating bugs/leaves/worms/grass) pretty much anything!
He has learned the sit command and has made vast improvements on walking around the neighborhood!
He did really well this weekend with all the kids at easter and met 2 dogs this weekend one his size (a yorkie/bichon mix) and one HUGE Bouviea de Flanders (I can't spell it for the life of me!)...he got along with both!
