Arrival Story:
I was working as a volunteer for the INternet Miniature Pinscher Service, (IMPS, Inc.) www.minpinrescue.org, and I was dispatched to pick up Izzy from the Animal Care and Control in San Francisco. He came to stay with us as a foster and we fell in love. Of course, before he was adopted he was on his best behavior...and then once we inked the adoption contract all hell broke loose. Nonetheless, we love him dearly and he's with us for life. His antics keep us laughing (and sometimes crying in frustration) but he's worth every bit of it.

Bio:
Pinny was picked up in Hunters Point area of San Franciso. He was found running down the Bayshore avenue near the place where the old Goodman's Lumber yard used to be, which is a really busy intersection. It's a miracle he wasn't hit by a car. His nails were as long as Freddy Krueger's, and he was filthy. The wonderful people at the ACC--Carolyn, a volunteer, and Mara, an employee, took him in, fed him, and clipped his nails. IMPS paid to have him fixed and shots brought up to date. Since his rough days of minpin pimpin' on the street, he's learned a life of luxury and privilege. Only the best will do for the Pinster: raw food diet, days of day care at only the finest facilities in Chicago (www.dogonefun.com) and San Francisco (www.bark-to-basics) have to offer, a collar and sweater matching seasonal ensemble for his heiness, first class flights around the country, and of course many brisket rubs, snuggles and cuddles.
