Arrival Story:
Mama saw me on and she and daddy came to get me at PetsMart that Saturday. When she got there, she saw my sissy Page and decided to adopt her too. The people at Pets-4 Partners told mama that we were cocker spaniel/beagle mixes, but now that we're big puppies, daddy thinks that we have a labby parent and because I'm so smart and kind and I have fuzzy ears, they think that my other parent is a golden retriever.

Mama and Daddy used to call me "houdini-dog" a lot. They say it's because at our old house, I used to escape the back yard a lot and run away. I don't understand what the big deal is...I always came back. (I just had to get away from sissy for a while!!) Mama and daddy even bought me and sissy one of those kennels for the back yard to stay in while they were at work, but one time, I even untied the wires at the bottom and escaped it. Mama found me in the house when she got home from work! And daddy says I'm going to be an electrician when I get older because I like to unplug stuff!

My momma doesn't take too many pictures...well, not usually anyway. Me and Pagie just have a few pictures (most of which are posted on my dogpage on dogster). But last week, Momma loaded film in her camera and we went to the lake. We had a blast running around and swimming, and Momma had a blast snapping pictures of us having a good time. Then she came home and made a photo book using shutterfly. I'm a pretty smart little guy, but I couldn't figure out what Momma was doing. Well, it turns out that she was making a photo book of me and Pagie because the Dogster people and the Shutterfly people gave her the opportunity to get a free book and she got it today in the mail. It made her very happy and she had tons of fun putting it together, although it seemed to take FOREVER...but you know, even 30 minutes to a puppy like me is forever. Now, we'll have a permanent reminder forever of how handsome and funloving I really am!

Larry Merrill is my favorite artist! (No offense Daddy!) He drew my portrait and I was Dog of the Day yesterday on August 8! I can't believe how pretty my portrait is and I was SO excited to know that everyone can see it on there. Mama emailed everyone she knew that is a doggie lover to show off my new portrait. Larry said that he's going to be drawing Pagie's portrait soon too. I can't wait. Mama said that she is going to buy the original and hang it in our living room. I can't wait. I can stare at my gorgeous self all day long! Go Larry!!!

Callie's here!

I just couldn't believe it last night when mama and daddy came home and had callie with them! She even went on our walk to the park last night. And then she ate suppers with us. And mama said that she was going to spend the night. I didn't believe her because Callie hardly ever spends the night! She thinks that me and Pagie are too rough for her and we play too loudly. But she did...I woke up this morning and Callie was asleep in the living room!!! Oh, I hope she goes on our morning walk with us this morning! I hope she stays with us all day long! Callie isn't much fun to play with...she growls and snaps a lot at us when we try to play with her...but she sure is cute and she is my "big" sissy after all. Well, not big in size, but she's my older sissy, and I love her. She gave me a rosette, you know...
