Arrival Story:
I had been wanting a dog for about a year, but wasn't sure what kind I wanted or how exactly I wanted to get one. For my job I visit my customers homes, I had a customer waiting outside for me since I was having trouble finding her home that day. When I got out of the car her little pomeranian was barking and growling at me, she said don't worry about her, she's just protecting her puppies. The puppies were only two weeks old and I instantly fell in love with them! I made friends with the mommy and she let me hold them and play with them. This customer was not well off financially and I knew they would probably end up either in the wrong hands or at the pound. I asked her if I could have the only brown female puppy, she said that would be fine, and she'd call me when they were able to leave the mother. When I went back to get the puppy this tiny furball came running to my car with the mother right behind. She wouldn't get out from under her mother's or my feet so I picked her up and she licked my face. I didn't know it at the time but that was soon to be my new puppy.

Trixie is a pyrenean shepherd and poodle mix, although no one can see it in her. She totally has small dog syndrome. She loves cats and children. She does not like other dogs or grownups, except my brother. She has no respect for my athority, but she knows I'm the boss. I call her my pretty pretty princess, because my cats are king and queen. She is a total drama queen though, her vet records even say that! She has the biggest personality of any small dog I've ever met. She is very smart, but she doesn't like to listen.

Oh wow, mama took me to the beach for my birthday! It was my first time. I had fun, but all that water scared me a little, and mama kept going way out in it and I would cry and cry and cry for her to come back. I just liked to run around in the sand and get dirty! It was sooo much fun though.

My birfday was a few days ago. Mama let me get away with murder practically! I wish everyday could be my birfday. I even got this thing called a birfday card, mama insisted on taking my picture with it, but she wouldn't let me chew it up, I don't see why not, it is mine! Oh well, maybe I'll have another birfday soon!

It's almost summer time!

Wow, it's really getting hot outside now. But mama knows how to work the A/C in the car. I like to stand on the console between the front seats and she points the vents at me so I can stay cool riding down the highway. I just love the wind blown look, don't you.

Ma tried to give me a haircut the other day, I put up a good fight, but I eventually let her do a little trimming here and there. She thinks I'm going to let her cut the hair out of my eyes, but who says I have to see where I'm going, I run so fast it doesn't matter anyway.

I got entered into the Old Navy search. Mama says I'm going to be famous one day. Whatever. As long as there's plenty of treats to go round I don't care.

She also says I need to take a trip to meet this man called Ceasar Milan. I don't know who he is, but she sure likes him. She stares at him for hours on the square thing that makes a lot of noise.

My human took me on vacation last week! It was SO much fun, but man did it wear me out. She made me climb up mountains, and walk for what seemed like hours. Why does she not understand that I must always run as fast as I can and stay in front of her at all times, and weave in and out of people? She makes such a fuss and embarrasses me in front of all those people. And what is it with her and that flashy thing, she keeps telling me to sit and then that thing flashes in my face, it's awful, but I figured out that if I sit real quick for her then look away I don't have to see that flash, it makes her awfully mad, but oh well, she'll learn! And what's with those rediculous 'self portriats' as she calls them with that flashy thing inches from my face? GAH!

But I decided to be a good girl for my human, not a single accident the whole week! She was SO proud of me! She bought me some super yummy homemade treats, and a purple tennis ball that fits perfectly in my tiny mouth, unlike those huge green ones, oh and a monkey that squeaks, oh and some super yummy food that she even got excited about! My human loves me so much!

well, she's ready for bed so i guess I should beat her up the stairs! gotta go.....
