Arrival Story:
My family had lost their beloved dog Meg through kidney failure and were keen to give another rescue dog a home so the tall one started ringing rescue centres to arrange visits. The second phone call was to a rescue lady who lived a few streets away. She said "I have just the dog for you". Ten minutes later she knocked on the door with me, a bundle of fluff that promptly bit the nice lady's nose. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Bio:
When I first joined my human family I was a shy wee thing, just 16 weeks old and I barely left their sides. So they never imagined that I would spot a lady with swinging hair plaits and run through the woods, right across the dog park and out on to the main road. The lady driving the car was very shaken up (I'm so sorry!) but she managed to avoid doing too much damage. Just a shattered pelvis and back leg. Two months, a metal pin & plate plus £3000 later I was fighting fit and you'd never know I was really a bionic dog!
