Twelve Weeks Old

Summertime.. and the livin's easy!

I've been enjoying summertime with my mom...especially since she's home with me everyday! We have gone on so many walks, to the beach and just playing outside in the sun.

I've also had a few firsts this summer including my first trip to the dog park which was sooo much fun! I also went to my first parade. Mommy was so surprised that the sirens didn't even make me flinch. I had fun watching all the new faces.

This summer I had my first dip in a swimming pool. I did not like that! Maybe it was the chlorine!?! I really like to swim and play in the water at the pond but I don't want to get in that pool again!

Well.. time to get back to chillin!

Growing Girl...

I graduated from puppy kindergarten last week! Some of the things I learned there are: sit, stay, lay down, come, take it, leave it , drop it and paw. Although I like to make sure a treat is waiting for me before I do most of these things. I really liked going to school. I will miss my teacher and my puppy friends.

I will be 20 weeks old on Sunday. My favorite things to do are still snuggling, sleeping, eating and playing. I am much better about going outside than when Mommy first brought me home. Once in a while I leave a puddle but usually I wait until I'm outside to go. I have started to lose my baby teeth. Everyone keeps saying how big I'm getting.

Lola is my best friend. She is a pug and lives down the hall. We love to chase each other around and wrestle. I miss her when we aren't together!

Grampa still comes to take care of me everyday at lunch time. Soon he won't have to because Mommy will be done with teaching for the year. But I will still visit with him lots!

Well... time to get back to important stuff...like napping!

A Special Visit

Every day while I am busy napping, Mommy goes to help her students learn. Grampa usually comes over to take me for a walk and to have some play time. The other day Grampa had a surprise for me! He brought me in the car to Mommy's school and I got to meet her students and her teacher friends. It was so exciting to meet everyone! I even got to show off a few of the tricks I have learned at puppy kindergarten. Everyone said how cute I was. One of Mommy's students gave me a present. It was a great day!
