Arrival Story:
Lucy used to live with the family of the owner of a bike shop where my brother worked but they were shocked when she played too rough with one of their kids' hamsters and killed it. Instead of locking their small animals in safe cages, their solution was to take Lucy out into the countryside and dump her there all alone. Thankfully my brother didn't like this plan and brought her home. After his son was born Lucy came to live with me because they couldn't give her the time or attention she deserved and she became a little bit naughty. Lucy gets all the cuddles and love she wants now and is our special little baby girl.
Bio:
Lucy's mum was a working sheepdog but nobody is sure who her dad was, the farmer who kept her mum described him as "one of those fighting dogs". From Lucy's shape and characteristics, we've guessed her dad was a whippet.

We've just come home from our holidays! We went to Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland for New Year. We all used to live there and we got to visit lots of people I remember. They all loved Frank because he's new and didn't pay a lot of attention to me but I don't mind because I got to sleep in a great big springy bed and run about in a big garden with Shannon the hairy dog I used to live with. We had a lovely long walk through a forest until the thunder started then it snowed and hailed on us. It is good to be home now to our own beds and toys and smells.

Mummy thinks I am getting a little too porky. I just got spayed a few months ago not long after little Frank came to live with us and the combination of both these events has made me incredibly hungry! We are going to have to go on longer walks to get rid of my extra girth, although I think it is just that I'm laying down some fat for winter. Maybe after Christmas...
