We have arrived! Our grandperson has brought Us to this wonderful region of the Royal Queendom known as Florida. The sun shines as much as any sun-loving Princess could want! We sun bathe most of the day and Our royal abdomen is a nice nut-brown. So many plesant subjects here; they request audiences with the Princess frequently but they bring our favorite biscuits so it isn't too tiresome. Finally, a hard-won vacation for this hard-working royal!

Sheesh, the royal work is never done!

Just a few months after my person brought Usback from the Middle Eastern desert (where We loved to sunbath and chase all the stray cats, but that dust was so *hard* on Our shiny coat!), Her Royal Highness is off again. Our grandfather has a country home in the American southeast. How quaint! We're told there will be many new adoring fans and proper servants at the country estate, but We can't quite belive what the person told Us: could it be true we are both travelling and residing in this one-room vehicle? No, surely not. That would be an indignity a Queen could simply not endure! But some proper care and fedding would not be out of order although, for some reason, We are told to expect the servants will be Of a Certain Age. No matter, We won't miss all the grabby children yanking our tail and trying to pick us up.

Our first stop is New Jersey, which We are promised, has a lovely coastline. Then onward to the person's siblings' abodes, and our final winter home in the warm, sunny Gulf Coast.

We do miss That Big Dog; where did he get to?
