Running, chewing on bones and whatever else is handy, mud puddles, sleeping UNDER the blankets, giving kisses weather you want them or not
Being alone and THE CEILING FAN!!! Deadly afraid of it
his blue bone and his giraffe (both having withstood his teeth so far)
anywhere I go, I dont go anywhere without him...ok, except work
high 5, kisses on command, play dead
:-) I started to look for a pittie puppy and my former roommate was working for a vet. She brought home a flyer of White Dog someone had posted at her work. It stated that he was about 4 month old, was deaf and needed a home. When I went to check him out, they told me if they couldnt find a home for him, they would take him to the pound. So i sat on the floor with him and he was (hehehe is) such a terror. I didnt want to scold him infront of his family when he was gnawing on my arms....anyways I fell in love with him and took him home. The next day my arms were completely bruised! No more chewing on people!!!
I've been teaching him handsignals and he knows quite a few. Whenever he doesn't want to "listen", he puts his head down and refuses to look at me!!! That booger.
About 2 years ago, he was stolen from me. I had left him in my car for a few minutes..yes I know.....I shouldn't have done that...and when I came back out he was gone!!! Luckily there was an eye witness who saw a couple with their little kid (!) reach into my car, unlock it and snatch him. He was able to describe them to the police and after a week of hell, he was brought back to me.
Long story..I had a clue to where he was kept...not a very good neighbourhood. I was out there every day, handing out flyers and putting thme into mail boxes and talking to all kinds of gangsters to find out any more info.
But he's back where he belongs and he's never left in the car unless I can see the car from where I'm at!!!!!
He also loves to sleep under the blankets. I wake up during the night and find him standing over me me staring. When I dont lift the blanket right away to let him under, he starts huffing and puffing until I do. Then he runs under it, curls himself into a ball so close next to me, you couldnt fit a hair. Thats how he sleeps until it gets too warm for him. Then the panting wakes me up and I have to dig him up from under the blankets. Is it a wonder I'm tired at work????? ;-)
I'm cold, so let me under the blanket!!

I have a new sister. How do i say this? I can't stand her! She is a freak and she has way too much energy and she is such a sissy too. Drives me up the wall.
Many things have happened since I last wrote.....we moved, I have a new Dad, whom I really love. But things werent all good. In September of 2010 my parents were gone a lot for about a week. My sister Sitka and I didn't really know whats was going on. Then one day they came back, with something, some little baby human thing. Really??!! Like there aren't enough cats already, they had to bring home a human?
Next thing i know, Sitka hasn't been feeling well and one day they took her and she never came back!! They said she had liver cancer and she had to be put to sleep. I don't know what it all means, but I'm stressed out and my world is out of whack and my parents are super sad and depressed.
I finally get used to the human thing who can now walk and poke at my eyes. i'm not liking that much though. And now they brought home this three legged monster...will it ever end? At least I get to snuggle in bed with mom every night and keep her warm. And maybe this Juno dog is not all bad. When she is bnot bursting with energy, we do snooze on the couch together.

....even when having to ride in the back of the car with the luggage!!!! It's so degrating, let me tell you the story:
One day my mom came home from work, raced me around the block so I could go to the bathroom and then left again. I was very confused. Nothing better to do, I fell back asleep and when I woke up, I was surrounded by strangers and a whole lot of luggage. Turns out Mom went to the airport and picked up her 2 friends from Germany!!! Oh my god, they came just to see me, I'm sure of it and I felt very special and honord. They petted me, rubbed me, walked me and let me sleep in bed with them.... suckers, hehehehe.
Then they decided they wanted to see some of my beautiful country and we went on a mini road trip. Since I'm the main guy, I still dont understand how I came to ride with the bags in the back?! I couldn't even lay down AND look out the window at the same time!! I had to sleep on top of the bags. Well, I got to see the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas and the ghosttown Calico, so I shouldn't complain too much. It really was a blast. The hotel bed in Vegas kinda sucked, it was too small for all of us. Everyone (of course) loved me whereever we went. People took pictures of me constantly. I think I'm famous now.
Calico was my favorite spot, even though Mom made me pose for pictures and it was pretty hot. But the park rangers were sooooo nice and stopped to talk to me. They even allowed me to go on the train ride and into the mine!!!! The mine was dark and scary and getting out of it was really hard because of the very narrow, revolving door. I thought I'd get stuck in it. But Mom and Uncle Mikie saved me :-)
All in all it was a great little vacation, especially because Mom didnt have to go to work for 2 weeks and was at my back and call. But I was glad to be back home where I can watch the neighborhood cats all day.

Ok, so my mom has been trying to teach me how to roll over. Duh, I'm a chicken and it freaks me out when she tries me to roll over. I totally do it fine on my own time, of course.
Then she thought she was really smart and taught me a whole new trick and I didnt even notice! First she taught me to lay on my side. Sooooo easy hahahaha, I had that down in no time flat...with those yummy treats and all. Since rolling over wasnt going to happen, she taught me how to play dead. Man, she gets excited when I first lift my paw in defense, then look at where I've been "shot" and then I finally crumble and fall on my side. That nut just jumps up and down when I do it and that makes me smile big time.
Its cool to do things your mom wants you to do. As long as the treats and the praises keep coming :-)
