Wow I've been distracted by Retracto-ball for that long?

Wow, has it been 3 months? I have a good excuse - RETRACTO-BALL!!! Dad put a tennis ball on an old retracting leash - IT IS THE BEST THING EVER! I could chase that thing forever. It goes around in circles, it jumjps around, it zips back and forth... Mom only lets me play with it if there's no other dogs around, though, because she says I get too "distracted" and "antisocial". Come on, my 15 girlfirends can wait... Oh yeah, Mom took a count and I have 15 girlfriends... that SHE knows about! Oh well, she's probably right.

I like to sleep upside down

Yup. It's comfy and that way I can run in my sleep. zzzzz.....

Happy Easter? I'm not a bunny!

Mommy and Daddy put these funnny easter bunny ears on me today - but I'm not a bunny! I know they miss their bunnies who couldn't come to Peru, but geez!

What an odd day. Mommy took me out at noon like usual but she never let me run off leash because I snapped at my friend Chato and some other dog, but it was only because they were sniffing a little too long down there! Then Daddy walked me instead at 5 - what happened to Mommy? Oh well. I'm very tired from all the stuff I was thinking about doing today. This thinking stuff is tiring, it's so much easier to just do!

Was I bad today?

I found out all the birds no longer land at the park. I guess they finally got the idea after chasing them so many times - but I miss chasing them! Maybe there will be some new ones soon.

I don't think I was being bad today, but I didn't get to play with the frisbee at all! Mom threw it once or twice and then put me on the leash after I ran and barked at this weird looking guy in the park - I was just protecting her! I always thought that anywhere I play is MY SPACE, and anyone else is invading - is that wrong? I got a second chance but that didn't last - I think she was annoyed that I wasn't paying attention to her, but there was so much going on!

Then I had to try on this funny hat a few times. Mommy said it was going to be my "pimp hat", whatever that means. I really didn't like it - I don't like hats too much. Oh well, maybe I can chew on it later.

Then on our second walk she wouldn't let me play with the frisbee AGAIN - but I was so wanting to practice my new trick! If I jump when she says "boing" I get a treat and get to chase the frisbee. What fun! I love how they give me treats for stuff I love to do anyway. But not today...

Then as if that weren't bad enough, right after our walk, they left me all alone in the house - I thought they were leaving forever! Just last weekend they left for days and I was so sad. But they came back, whew!

I made a new girlfriend today!

What a fun day! We went to the park and mommy threw the frisbee every time I did a trick - it takes so little to please these humans. I even learned that sometimes she just wants me to "stay", so my human vocabulary is now at 26 words. It's such an easy language to understand - too bad it's so hard to speak! I keep trying but mom and dad keep saying they don't speak dog.

I also got to meet this pretty young girl at the park. Her name is Pattys or something like that - her owner and mommy didn't seem to talk much, I guess maybe he doesn't speak human very well either... She has the prettiest egg-shaped head, and she plays like one of the guys. Of course, I was letting her pin me just to be nice!

Dad came back from the store later, WITHOUT CHICKEN! That's okay though, I got some taco meat in my dish. That stuff tastes way better than biscuits!

I just created a group for all of us dogs that have to travel a lot and anyone who has questions or comments about traveling as a dog. I haven't traveled much myself, but my mommy and daddy are in the foreign service so I'll have to move to a new country about every two years! I'm a little scared as I tend to barf in the car, and I don't even know what a plane is like, but I go where the pack goes!

Mommy and Daddy Came back today!

Hooray! Mommy and Daddy came back today. Mom brought her computer back too so I can start my diary now. They left on Saturday and told me I couldn't go because I barf in the car. Really I think they were just going to eat lots of chicken and didn't want to share. But it's okay because Maria took care of me over the weekend. I just wish she didn't tell them that I cried when they left on Saturday. I don't want anyone to know I'm not a tough guy!
