Arrival Story:
Maddie's brother, Wrigley developed separation anxiety and our vet recommended we get Wrigley a playmate to make his days easier. We found Maddie through petfinder.com, the shelter she was at had her listed. She was the saddest looking thing, but we knew with lots of love and patience she could be the best thing for Wrigley (and he for her as well).

Bio:
Maddie was a puppy mill dog (in Wisconsin) that was surrendered to a shelter because she wasn't producing good puppies. Had the mill bothered to take her to the vet they would have found out that she had a life-threatening disease that was curable only by spaying her. Today she is a spunky, loveable girl who we couldn't imagine living without!
