Arrival Story:
Dutchess & Tippi are litter sisters. I got Tippi one day & went back for Dutch the next. I didn't want to separate them.
Bio:
Dutchess is extremely independent & sometimes bossy, but in a sweet way. She let me know that when I was potty training her as a pup. I put wee wee pads by the back door & she & her sister Tippi shredded them into a million pieces all over the kitchen, then pottied where they wanted. She's also very verbal when she wants something. She will talk non stop. (it's really funny) That is how I ended up naming her Dutchess. She thought she was royalty & should be treated as such. She is loving & follows me around the house. (even the bathroom) She loves her greenies & loves to play outside in the summer. She lets me hug her & kiss her. Although some of the time she will wipe the kisses off her face afterward. ( it's cute) She loves to chase bunnies & squirrels. The first time she saw a frog she sniffed if, & when it jumped she jumped back about two feet as if wondering "what the heck is it?". She is a very good girl. I love her very much.

Dutchess was 15 years and 4 months old. She was sent to be with her sister last night. Dutch was in Kidney failure and had fluid around her liver. They did an ultra sound and also found spots on her kidneys. Could have been cancer. Not sure.
I named her Dutchess (spelled different) because when I got her at 8 weeks old she thought she was royalty and should be treated as such. So that name suited her perfectly. And she was treated like royalty her whole life. She bossed me around for 15 years and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
She will be missed terribly!!!! The tears flow for the love I have for her and how much I will miss her.

Mom took me & Malcolm to the vet the other day. We got our nails trimmed & then got a treat when we got home.
Grandma's been coming over & we ALWAYS get a treat from her.

Woo Hoo! I got two bones for Christmas! Mom had them wrapped & I got to open them. I got to chew one on Christmas & I'll get the other one another day. I get a present every year. I'm such a lucky dog!
Malcolm got to open his too.
