Arrival Story:
In 1994 I was preparing to move to Norco. I took my little dog, Zip, to the vet for her shots and told him that I was looking for a large dog puppy because I would have a lot of land for him to run. He said that he had a stray Chocolate Lab that he had kept for almost 3 months and nobody had claimed. I wasn't sure I wanted an older dog but one look at Fred and I knew I couldn't leave him there. He stunk of urine and literally bounced off the walls. He needed love and room to run and I sure had lots of both to offer so he moved with us and he's been my Fred Faithful Heart ever since!

Bio:
Freddie Boy has always been the sweetest dog with the kindest disposition around. He has helped me foster a couple of very ill horse foals by licking their faces and laying next to them to keep them warm. There are 3 pics of Fred with little Roper, a mini horse. I rescued Roper and his Mom, Belle Star, when he was 2 months old. Roper had severe pneumonia. Fred stayed in the barn with him almost 24/7. I credit him with a lot of Roper's recovery. 3/07 My beloved Freddie Boy has passed on. He was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. I stayed home from work today and Freddie and I talked all day. I brushed him and gave him all of the "goodies" that he loved so much. At 5pm we left for Doc Bart's. At 6pm I drove home alone. My beloved Fred, I will always love you. 4/92 - 3/07
