Arrival Story:
I found her at the shelter, and we connected right away. She was such a calm, sweet little thing (8 weeks old). Little did I know she was faking the calm part! She was one of a litter of 6 pups, along with their mother, who was brought into the shelter.
Bio:
The shelter workers thought Molly had some Australian shepherd in her, but she grew up to look (and act) exactly like a Basenji. But she's not a full breed because she can bark normally, and she's a little bigger than a Basenji. Perhaps she does have some shepherd in her, though, because she "herds" me all over the house! Molly is very active and athletic. She can jump high, and likes to perch, catlike, on the back of the couch. She also is a fastidious groomer, like a cat.
