Arrival Story: My dad went to the pound to pick up a dog when I was in the eighth grade. He came back with a two year old husky named Smokey. He and I automatically bonded. He was/is my baby. Well, I grew up and moved out and I got to take my smokey with me!
Bio: I was at the pound many times. I kept running away from my other owner and I guess she got tired of coming and bailing me out. So, she told the pound that she didn't want me anymore but her neighbor wanted me and would come pick me up. Only problem was the neighbor never came. She kept calling and telling the pound to keep holding me that she would come soon. Well, I guess they got tired of waiting for her just like I did. So, they put me out for adoption after about 3 weeks of waiting. That day my new family came and picked me up. Want to hear something funny? The lady who was suppose to come pick me up called and said she was coming to get me right then as my new family was signing the papers.

I miss you everyday. I want so much to hold you but I know you are happy and healthy again. I wanted to write you and thank you for the little gift you left behind. I knew you would be my guardian angel! I kept telling your dad that you were not going to leave us until you knew our family was complete and that we would be happy. The day you left us I found out I was pregnant! I know that it was sign that you were ready to go to heaven. I can't thank you enough for leaving behind this wonderful gift and I know it is thanks to you and God. I hope you are having a great time with all your new friends. I will get hold you again some day. Until then keep watching over us and we love you!
Camping was a blast! We had a little creek right next to us that we got to play in all day! My lil brother titus got a little annoying at times though! He would not stop splashing me! Mom told me that we could not go on a hike this time because of my back legs but we did get to go on a nice walk. I had a couple of spills but for the most part I satyed up on all fours. I did have another accident in the car on the way back home but mom was very understanding about it and she took me for a little walk so I could finish up. Other than those 2 things it was pretty nice trip!
So, I had surgery yesterday to remove a lump from underneath my front leg. I was pretty scared going in yesterday. I was so happy to see my mom at the end of the day. Mom tells me that the doctor decided that the lump needed to be biposied because it "looked angry." So, I am a little worried about what the results might say. Last night I was pretty outta it. I was still pretty drugged up. But my mom and dad took really good care of me. Today I am feeling much better. Still a little soar but not all drugged up at least! I have been starving so mom gave me a big breakfast! I wanted to go to the dog park today but mom said that that wasn't a good idea and that I need to rest some more. Well, thats my day! I hope everyone is having a GREAT weekend and I will keep you guys posted on the results!
