I'm gonna be a Big Sister!

Woof! Guess what??? I''m gonna be a Big Sister! My Dad bought my Mommy a puppy for her Birfday! At first, I wasn't sure about the news...I like being the baby and BOSS of our house...but I guess it'll be okay, especially 'cuz grumpy 'ol Wally doesn't really play with me very much since he's so big! Unless we go to the park and he goes swimming in the lake....he always wants me to join in the "fun" with him, but I don't think it looks FUN at all!!! I'm too little to swim in that big 'ol lake... I tell him... ForGET IT Wally! But maybe now that I'm getting a baby sister, I will have someone to play with! My Mom told me she's small right now, but will grow up to be as big as Wally someday! But until then, she's gonna be just the right size to play with ME! I don't think I'm gonna share my toys...my Mom and Dad will just have to buy her new toys....but if they are cooler than mine then my sister will have to share with me! I'm older, so I think that's how it should be....even if my Mom DOES say that's not fair. I told my Mom that I still want to be her favorite and she said she'll always love me ... no matter what ! So I guess it's gonna be okay that I won't be the baby anymore....but I get first dib's on Lap time...besides, in a couple months, the new baby will be too BIG to sleep on Mom's lap! Well, I gotta go outside to potty....Later !

Christmas Cookies???

Hi! My name is Lola and I'm almost a year and a half! My mommy says I'm in my terrible two's stage...whatever that means! I think she's still mad because I like to play with the shiny balls on our Christmas tree...and I thought the salt my daddy put on our steps outside was the same kind humans eat. But it made me sick and I kept throwing up and having accidents in our house. I'm feeling better now though, and I am looking forward to opening my presents that my mommy and daddy keep putting under our tree...I like to go and check them out everyday! Sometimes I smell them and push them around our living room...but guess what? I found out something really cool! If I jump and roll around on one of the bigger boxes, it makes noises! I can't WAIT to see what's inside! Anyway, my mommy says everyone in our house has to go on a diet...including me and my big brother, Wally. He's REALLY big, since he's a Chocolate Lab, but my daddy says were BOTH getting too fat! Maybe if we would go on more walks to the park, we would lose weight (hint, hint!) So I guess we won't be getting any cookies for Christmas this year... oh well...oops! I have to go! My mommy says she needs the computer to study for her exams....she's going to be a police officer one day! I hope she doesn't bring home a police dog when she graduates....it's hard enough being the BOSS of my house now....okay....bye bye!
