Likes:
Love. Then games. Then food.

Pet-Peeves:
Nothing bothers Yoshi although raised voices scare him, but that's not a peeve.

Favorite Toy:
Balls! Big balls, smalls ball, any balls. And humans.

Favorite Food:
Yoghurt. He goes wild for yoghurt.

Favorite Walk:
At the dog park.

Best Tricks:
Always moves when asked to, walks around following where you have pointed, calms down when you say 'gently', brings back and drops the ball on command, understands and obeys the request 'bring it'.

Arrival Story:
I received an email from a friend who'd had it forwarded to her from a line going back about three or four people. A young family with a baby and 2 dogs needed someone to mind Yoshi as their father in law had told them to 'get rid of one' dog. They are living at the in-laws while their house is being built and were told to 'get rid of one' after they moved in. I was horrified this had happened and informed my family were were taking Yoshi in. My family were horrified but came around. They were worried about how our present dog would take him. Toyah was fine. Yoshi was fine. Everything was fine. Yoshi's family were ecstatic to find someone to help them as by that time Yoshi was being boarded at his vets and not having a good time as he had not been allowed to see his family for weeks. I asked for him to be de-sexed before we took him on which was done and after he'd ended up staying at the vet for 6 weeks, he arrived at our house. He was sad to begin with but he improved steadily and is now a bouncing ball of love and energy. We love him to bits.

Bio:
He has a big head due to the American Staffie side and is absolutely gorgeous. People just like him on sight which I think is partly due to his big head. He has put on a lot of weight since he arrived as he lost masses of weight at the vet. He's gained a little over 5kgs (11 pounds). He also is now on regular vaccinations for his allergies to grass, dust and dust mites the poor bugger. He is a dream for medications and thinks taking pills is fun because it's always followed by brekkie or tea (dinner). He even behaves perfectly for the application of rectal cream which he hates but always lies down straight away for the application. Of course he always gets a reward for his brilliant behaviour.
