Still a sad pup

In all my sadness over losing my favorite doggie cousin, I forgot to tell everyone about the other bad thing that happened this week. Precious is my best friend in the whole world. She is the doggie that lives next door to us. We run along the fence together and bark at each other all the time.
Well, the other night when I went to sleep she was fine. But the next morning she was limping. She wouldn't put her leg down at all. Her mom and my mom both looked at her and could not tell what was wrong with her. So, her mom took her to the VET and guess what??? She has a broken toe!! They wrapped her leg up and now she has to stay inside most of the day. I sure do miss her. I can't wait until she is better and we can play again.
She won't even tell me how she broke her toe. I will have to watch her closely from now on and make sure she takes good care of herself. I don't like being lonely.

I am a sad pup

This is my first diary entry. I never had too much to gab about before now.
But, today I am a sad puppy. One of my bestest friends has gone to the bridge. My doggie cousin Ginger. She was not feeling well and my human uncle took her to the vet on Saturday to have her checked out. They gave her xrays and tests and then some medicine. It was suppose to make her better. But, I guess sweet little Ginger was hurting too bad. On Monday, she got worse and my uncle had to take her back to the vet. Only this time, there was nothing they could do for her except to help her cross the bridge.

Ginger was a sweetheart. She let me come to her house and visit. She, her sister, Lucy, and I would lay around in the back yard. Lucy did not care for me all that much, but Ginger didn't mind me coming to visit. I sure will miss her.

I hope Ginger is alright and all the doggies at the bridge are taking good care of her. I hope she remembers me and how much I love her.
