Car rides and going to the vets. I never have liked cars and they almost always take me to the vets!

Favorite Toy:

Favorite Food:
YES!!! FOOD!!! ANY!!!

Favorite Walk:
Any walk

Best Tricks:
I guess I would have to say my Kong is. I pick it up and drop it constantly until they put some peanut butter in it. And if dad says no, like any other kid, I pick it up and go ask mom!

Arrival Story:
Mom has wanted another corgi for such a long time. She had one when she was younger (about 25 years ago). So, she saw an ad for puppies for sale. She had her heart set on a female, and I was the only one left. She agreed to see me, but told dad that his job was not to let her take me home. HA!!!!! Dad said as soon as she saw me, he knew there was no way they were leaving without me.

Bio:
Duncan is a bundle of energy. The first corgi I had was real laid back. He is pure corgi. He will herd you as you are walking through the yard. He has become the job of my life and I spoil him rotten with toys and my husband spoils him with food.

What a summer

It's been great! Not to hot, not to rainy and I've been outside a lot. Dad put in lots of plants around the pond, which meant he needed help with all the digging. I was there with all my paws, giving him a hand.
He also put in a patio by the back of the house, which meant....you got it....MORE digging. I bet helping dad cut down a lot of hard work for him. Mom didn't seem to think so. She muttered something about more dirt in the house than was in the yard; muddy paw prints through the carpet and me needing a bath every day when I get through with helping dad. But, yet, she seems to always have a smile and hug for me.

Mom's little helper

Well, mom has been busy this year. Her mom isn't in the greatest of health, so she has been taking care of her. Plus, she just had surgery herself, and was laid up and unable to get around very good.

I was a big help for her while she was on bed rest. She was teasing dad and said she need a bell to ring to get his attention. But, she doesn't need that as long as I'm around. I surprised her one day. She needed dad to get something, but didn't know for sure where dad was. She called my name a couple of times. I went to the bedroom door and looked in. She told me " go get daddy, find daddy". Well, I took off barking like crazy to get dad. I ran to him, ran back to the bedroom and back to dad again. He then followed me to the bedroom door, with a puzzled look on his face. Asked mom if she needed something. Well, I don't know who was prouder....mom, dad or me! They have never had me do anything like that before and I seemed to know what to do right away. Well, I do bark if someone says where's mommy or where's daddy; but they can be right beside me and I'll run off barking to somewhere else, other than the person they asked for. So, this was pretty cool to them.

After the big storm

Well, it's been a little over a week since Central Ohio had the big windstorm. We were without power for a whole four days. Mom and Dad were home with Chloe and I during all of this. It was kinda strange and neat at the same time, the darkness. Mom was upset that we lost all the food. Some of it didn't go to waste. Mom cooked the 9 pound pork loin she had just bought, shredded it and pour bar-b-q sauce all over and gave it to the neighbors.

Chloe and I got a couple of things from the frig and freezer. Mom said she hates to waste anything, and would rather give it to us dogs and the neighbor dogs than throw it out. I tell you, it was a feast!!!! Some chicken, some beef and a couple of other goodies. But, I bet this throws my diet WAY OFF!!!!! Well, it will be mom's fault this time.
