 Quick Bio:
Likes: Like my older brother, I also love spending time with my family, especially cuddling up to them as close as I can when sleeping. I also enjoy playing with my older brother, Nathan, and with my family.

Pet-Peeves: Being left alone. I want to be with my family!

Favorite Toy: My family – I love playing with them! I also like rope toys, tennis ball toys, toys that squeak … basically any toys.

Favorite Food: That mean animal doctor put me on a special prescription diet to prevent recurring bladder stones. Unfortunately, I am not allowed any other food than the prescription diet.

Favorite Walk: I like walking right beside my family … I don’t want to be very far away from them. I follow them from room to room since I never want to be without them.

Best Tricks: Grabbing my own leash. Also looking as cute as I can with my large black eyes … it gets me what I want.

Arrival Story: I was adopted into my current family after they found me on petfinder.com. My older brother, Nathan, suffers from bladder stones … my family wanted a new dog but was worried about Nathan getting into the other dog’s food and developing new bladder stones.
I had had another mommy for my first 18 months of life but she was unable to afford the medical/surgical care when I developed bladder stones. Since she loved me very much, she gave me up to a rescue organization in Austin who was able to pay the veterinarian costs. I was placed in a foster home for a month that didn’t work out … probably because I was confused about where my mommy was and why I had to undergo surgery. Luckily, my current mommy saw me on petfinder.com and adopted me. I was unsure of my new family at first, especially of my older brother, Nathan, who tried to ignore me. A week or so after being adopted, though, we were all out walking when this huge dog, an Airedale terror, approached with his human companion. I was terrified not realizing that the dog, Jack, was a friend of Nathan's. Nathan realized how terrified I was and sprang into action letting Jack know under no certain circumstances was he to scare or hurt me; once Nathan realized I was okay, he and Jack began to play. Nathan acted like my big brother protecting his little sister … I knew I had found my permanent home at that time. At times I still miss my first mommy ... I hope she knows that she made the right choice and that I am very happy now in my new home.

Bio: I have a cropped tail and natural ears, which my family feels allows me to be much more expressive. I am very loyal and affectionate towards my family who I love very much! I love watching my family no matter what they are doing. When they talk to me, I will tilt my head to one side and another.
