Arrival Story:
Obtained from breeder in WV. Mandy had an older sister from the same parents. She also had bad hips. We got Mandy free because of her sister Jasmine's hip guarentee. Mandy's hips are worse than her sister's. I will not buy a dog in the future unless both parents are OFA certified.
Bio:
Mandy is a beautiful white german shepherd, AKC. Mandy has chocolate brown eyes and pink ears. She is not an albino.We wanted to join a german shepherd club years ago. When they found out Mandy was white they were rude and said others look down upon the whites. Needless to say, we did not join or would recommend joining a group for excluding a dog for its color. White is NOT a fault. The people in that club are just poorly educated.She has hip dysplasia and sometimes has problems walking. She has been spayed.Mandy loves to catch tennis balls and play frisbee. She is also a good swimmer. Mandy is a great guard dog. She is very protective of her owners. Mandy does not like her photo taken! Mandy is a weather dog. She will let us know of a storm about 10 minutes before we get it. She has good hearing with her pretty pink ears.Mandy does not like toy guns, or water pistols.Mandy's registered name is Mandolin of Clearview.Mandy was chosen queen dog of the week at Fatboy's group July 8th. Mandy lost her fight against hemangiosarcoma of the spleen March 1, 2009. She is dancing in heaven.

Mom and dad miss me much. I'm dancing in heaven. Quincy and Sidney have recently joined me at the bridge. We are free of cancer and pain. I was loved on earth.

I am celebrating Thanksgiving at the bridge with Jasmine, Peanut, and Heidi. I remember Thanksgiving day well. Back in 2001, I got bit on the stomach area by a blind ground hog. I did not catch it. I had to be seen at the vet the following day and get put on antibiotics. I'm watching down from heaven checking up on Toby and the new white german shepherd, Geno.

I'm dancing in heaven with my high heels and dog pals as I am featured today as diary of the day. Think of me always and keep my memories alive. I was a good dog, a loyal, protective guardian of my family. When it storms on earth, I am dancing in heaven. Look for the rainbow in the sky. I'm playing in the pot of gold dog food nuggets. Read the lovely shepherd poem mom found for me.
