I was sitting in my car in a parking lot, getting ready to go to a photo shoot, when I looked up and saw a dog running across a busy street. Afraid she'd get hit, I closed my eyes. A few seconds later, I opened them to see that the dog had made it across. I opened my car door and said, "Come here, puppy!" and this little dog jumped right in. It was January 1995, a particularly rainy month, and she was covered in mud. I had no choice but to take her with me to the shoot. She curled up on my lap on the drive over there, and we were smitten.
Bio:
Daphne left us in June 2005, and we miss her very much.
